June 21, 200917 yr While i'm kiling spiritual mages, should i kill them while wearing ring of wealth or while wearing warriros ring?
June 21, 200917 yr I'm biased on this matter. I say Wealth. I dont know, I dont really find the "boost" of a ring to help more than the cash you gain if you use a wealth. I have my reasons :? I dont need a siggy no moar.
June 21, 200917 yr Yes, as spiritual mages have the same gem drop rate as boots, I can assume they are both considered "Rare" items. And since the wealth increases the value of a rare drop, you will get more dragon boots than gems.

And since the wealth increases the value of a rare drop, you will get more dragon boots than gems. False. The Ring of Wealth only increases your chance of getting a "rare" drop. Once the system has decided to give you a "rare" drop, the actual drop has nothing to do with the Ring of Wealth. I put rare in quotation marks because a drop is defined as rare according to Jagex's numbers, not the actual drop's value. When killing Spiritual Mages, I have recieved more boots with the Ring of Wealth than with the Berserker Ring. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. The ring of wealth affects not the number which thou may achieve upon the first wheel, but should thou gain the precise number to allow thee access to the second, the ring will make thy chances of gaining an object on that second roulette wheel all the greater." June 21, 200917 yr I've gotten only 2 boots at spiritual mages through 13+ tasks. One with wealth, one without. Personally I've stopped using one there. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Yeah, it is pretty cryptic.[/hide] It seems to me that it add more rare item drops to the second wheel if you hit the 2nd wheel square on the drop wheel. On topic, I would say its a good idea to use a wealth, your main aim is a single rare item and regardless of the way the ring works its going to be helping the d boot rate. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
June 22, 200917 yr Spiritual mage's def is so low that the Warrior won't help much. If it was berserker vs wealth, it could be a little controversial. But in this case, go with the wealth. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
June 22, 200917 yr Personal experience on way to 99 slayer (92 wealthed, 99 not wealth) I found I had like 1/200 drop rate on boots with wealth at mages (1000s of kills) I had about 1/80 rate with zerker ring (1000s of kills) could be extremely unlucky, but i find welath sucks at mages Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning

I have done about 4-5 tasks without wealth (instead using berserker), and failed to get any d boots... All of my d boots drops have been with a ring of wealth, and averaged around a 1/150 to 1/175 drop rate with the ROW. Spiritual mage's def is so low that the Warrior won't help much.
