Manorexic
Okay i am having some serious trouble with the mini quest after kings ransom  And i really don't know why, i am taking about 6 restores, 2 of each super set, and the rest tuna potatoes. I thought this was complete overkill but obviously not, i get to palomedes and when he gets to about 10-20% hp i can't seem to hit whatsoever! Sir gawain and kay seem to hit constant 20's no matter what. I am making sure all my stats are not drained, 79 att, 80 str, 77 def. I don't see why i am having so much trouble with this :( Using torags, nezzy helm, whip and rune defender. Furthest i've got was lancelot for a few seconds. Dds spec seems to miss 100% even with potted stats, 97 str+95att! I'm out of ideas. If there are no suggestions i think my next trip will be guthans, ss, and whip/defender. With about 3 rings of recoil tuna potatoes and the same amount of pots :? Drops: 2 Bandos chestplates 2 Bandos hilt, 2 Armadyl hilts, at least 3 of every single Barrows item. More splits than i can remember
w0odspriteV2
You should really do it with guthans, combines with whip+obby shield/defender I did it with 75 attack, 72 strength, 73 defence (screwed up stats, I know) + guthans + dds + whip and obby shield (-for the ones that are vulnerable to slash) Also brought 2 super sets and 1 super restore, only used 4 sharks btw, you're using the right style against the right opp? Manorexic
Just did it with just 9 restores and monks :? But this time i brought ss, clearly the crush helps a lot! Thanks a lot though :) Drops: 2 Bandos chestplates 2 Bandos hilt, 2 Armadyl hilts, at least 3 of every single Barrows item. Sy_Accursed
Sounds to me like you've utterly ignored their weaknesses, in order they go: stab - bedivare slash - pellias stab- tristram crush - palomedes slash - Lucan slash - Gwain stab/crush - Kay slash/crush - Lancelot Using just a whip its no surprise that you can't beat palomedes. SportsGuy
Plus, a halberd can get the job done from a safe spot that still (yes, even after the update) exists. mmmcannibalism
I guess this is a bit late, but ring of recoils are very helpful for the space they take up. When I did the grounds I used one ring for the first 4 and a second for the last two knights. Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed. essiw
I did it with full rune, some dragon weapens, whip and ring of recoils. no need to buy barrows http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. hihihi727
Yep don't ignore weaknesses. The first time i tried, at level 80, i used tuna potatos and super sets but i got pwned. I tried again at level 81 and this time i used a rune warhammer for the guys that are weak to crush (3rd and 2nd to last guy). I won with 10 pieces of food left!! Oh yeah, and when you fight people that are weak to stab, use your dds. When they get poisoned, lure them behind a dummy and wait for them to die. If you wait too long you will be teleported out though, so only do it if they have around half their hp left. Guthans is totally not nessecary especially at your level
SportsGuy
These guys are not that tough...poison them, then halberd them behind a dummy. I didn't use anything while fighting them...no food, no potions. I brought them, but I didn't need anything. Zaaps1
I used guthans and only need 1 pot of regular restore and 3 monkfish. Try guthans? Remember to take advantage of their combat weaknesses. You need that. ~It's Super Effective!
