Showbread pretty much rocks really hard.

i'm particularily fond of Skillet. most of their old stuff anyway

I really like Blindside. Rather hard core, though their new CD isn't really my favorite.

I like Chevelle a bit too, their older stuff more so though.

Demon Hunter is sorda really heard metal, but if you like that give it a shot.

Dredg is really dreamy, good sleep music, and they know how to use power chords.

I give Emery two big thumbs way up.

Further Seems Forever is also very dreamy, and the music has some annoying repatition, the guitar and drums is all i really listen too.

Hawthorne Heights deffinitly is a favorite of mine.

If trance and dance is your scene Idiot Pilot will blow your mind. Deffinitly give them a listen.

Incubus is just one of those bands you can't get enough of, I love all their albums, and want them to make many, many more.

Mewithoutyou is interesting, it's more of a mixture of story telling and alternative power balads. It reminds me of Bob Dylan, but without the annoying voice.

Killswitch Engage is real hardcore, but not anything like Demon Hunter

Story of the Year has some great music, but most of it is not that

great.

Taking Back Sunday both their new and old albums are great, but incredibly and unbelievably emo.

Switchfoot is kinda strange, but I like them a lot, and I'm looking forward to their new album.

The Killers really turned out to be a rocking band, check them out deffinitly.

The Postal Service(see Death Cab for Cutie)Pretty much the same kinda music, with different people playing it.

Thrice is nice and hardcore and has some of the greatest lyrics too.

Underoath, some of their older albums are not all that great, but their newest one kicks.

Weezer is ok, you've probaly heard Weezer I'm sure.

And then there are all the other classic bands and stuff, that I don't know if you'd be interested in or not, but just incase, P.M. and I'll let you know some goodies but oldies.

Heres a few bands on my playlist that i think you might like...

Goo Goo Dolls are an indie and alternative band, who formed in 1986. They are perhaps most famous for their international hit Iris, featured on the soundtrack to the 1998 film City of Angels

Zero 7 are a downtempo styled musical duo comprising of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker from the United Kingdom. The bands songs feature vocals from Mozez, Sia Furler, and Sophie Barker

The Killers are an alternative rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, who formed in 2002.

The Bravery is an American band from New York. Their musical style has been compared to The Strokes, The Cure, New Order, and The Smiths

Deftones are a multi-platinum selling, Grammy award winning rock band from Sacramento, California

Killswitch Engage is a metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, USA.

Trivium is a heavy metal band from Florida. Their sound is described as metalcore having influences from Swedish death metal bands such as Arch Enemy while also incorporating a modern hardcore sound drawn from bands such as Hatebreed.

And of course bands like Muse and Coldplay cannot be ignored.

Oooh Death Cab...

Death Cab For Cutie = the best.

I agree 100% their new album "Plans" rocks my world. Pure genius.

For sure :D normally I make it a goal to not "kill" a cd (you know, listening to it over and over until you can't stand it)... but after two weeks of 3 times a day... I'm still totally into it.

Oh, and yeah, Further Seems Forever is pretty good :) try getting stuff (or the actual album) from "Hide Nothing"... half the songs off that cd have been at the top of my iPod 25 most played list for 6 months now.

From First to Last is my favorite at the moment....they have an EP out and theiur full length album is out now called "Dear Diary, My Teen Angst has a Bodycount"... they combine Punk, Metal, and Screamo and feature songs like "Note to Self", "Ride the Wings of Pestilence", and "The One Armed Boxer vs The Flying Guillotine".. their songs are dark, exciting, intense and will leave you wanting more, and more you'll get, because Robert Ross (the man that produced albums by Korn, Slipknot, and Glassjaw) has just agreed to produce FFTL's second full length album and it is going to be wicked. also if your into rap, check out Insane Clown Posse, Twizted, or the Beastie Boys, or Wu-Tang Clan
