Cave slimes are the best source of swamp tar. They are found in the Lumby swamp caves, and poison you with a fast-hitting poison, so antipoisons are a must. They drop 1-6 swamp tars every kill and have 25 HP, so collecting tar from them is very fast. As far as monster killing goes, they are one of the better ones for easy money.

If someone wants to know the best way to collect swamp tar, and you tell them to buy it, you aren't helping them at all. Everyone already knows that they can make money and buy swamp tar if they want to. Your answer is useless.

 

 

 

At 99 strength, you should be able to kill cave slimes extremely fast, I would estimate you can probably collect 1200 or so swamp tar per hour, if you find a crowded world & a spot with 4 or 5 slimes close together.

Well the question wasnt what you think it is, so really I am right and you come 2nd, sir.

With high combat, cave slimes are probably best. If you don't want to battle, the "lunar isle" ship while docked at lunar isle has several barrels with replenishable spawns. It's slower, but less running than in swamps (lumby or mort myre) and lots of clicking needed...just another way of doing it though.

In all actuality, Ray is correct, and you are majorly overreacting about it.

 

The fastest way to gather most raw materials is to use a fast moneymaker and then buy them, and with swamp tar, this rule applies all the more due to the fact that you don't gain much XP while collecting it.

i think that he knows you can buy them. but what if he doesnt want to buy them? what if hes trying to get tar so he could sell them to a friend?

If you are going for tars, WT are slow, heck I hate those monsters.

 

I would suggest cave slimes, I do those myself too, they drop lvl 1 clues about 300-600 tars so if you want to clue and get tars it is nice. Don't forget a light that doesn't explode (Bullseye lantern or the seers diary thing)
