Never try scanning a library book, it takes forever and the pages show though...Anyway there is a round from 8pm yesterday(6 hours ago) to 1pm today(13 hours time). It promises to be action-packed already, the French Civil war is going to resolve itself, whether anyone does anything or not!

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Maybe I should just drop some people in to massacre everyone that I see. :)

Well I don't want to commit genocide, do I? :)

I don't know, do you? These are your plans I am just a biological computer program which screws them up .... err.... Works them out.

Well you have some flaws, but you're a pretty good computer program.

The entire Britannian space fleet has assembled, and will fire on any hostile actions towards it AND all lichte (sp) ships. ^.^

'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

Heh, I'm neutral. If someone tries to attack me their ships will be blasted into molten heaps by my planetary defence rail-guns. :D

Anyone want to buy some weapons? I have like, millions spare.

Also, my special forces are being given advanced technology (such as c4, mortar strikes and night-vision goggles), unlike the usual foot-soldiers who have nothing but a gun.

If anyone's wondering why I am preparing for war, it's just precautionary.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Meanie Dungeonal. :(

Just because I've invaded your island before doesn't mean I'm against you. I just like the geographical features...

Besides, Mount Fuji would be an excellent base. (You could make a vast network of aquatic tunnels and mine for ore, not to mention you could put a buncha flak guns on the outside that shoot randomly.

The design and life-support systems for the X-302s are done, left is sub-light propulsion, FTL-drives, hangars, shielding, bulk-head door systems, drone weaponry, rail-guns, main-systems, power-generators, ring-integration and the build itself.

Wha? We have to wait a week for the results? :(

No that is me badly conveying that next weeks tuesday session will finish 2 hours later. Also this space combat thing is confusing as sausages!

Yea it does get a bit confusing.

Space battle report:(combat report to follow)

A great exchange of energy and missiles has illuminated the night sky for the passed fifteen nights. Though neither side was throughly defeated there are definitely winners as the Brazilian-Germanic fleet destroy the thirty nine transports carrying much needed reinforcements to Earth. Can the NWO survive this crushing defeat with the transport that got away?

But there is also great sadness for Germania, the great flagship Ragnarok exploded early in the battle and because of its distance exploded harmlessly. The early battle looked like it would be short, with each side's fighers raining death upon the enemy, but as the first day drew to a close the railguns on Aether's vessels finished off the last of the squadrons, their own squadrons being finished off some hours earlier still. For a long time it appeared that Aether would escape with half the transports as an appreciable gap opened up between the two sides with Aether's Helios Orbs blasting numerous battle ships apart while they strained to hit the fleeing transports, under strict order not to attack anything else until the transports were destroyed. It was only by disobeying orders that the battleships destroyed the orbs and then were able to catch up and destroy the remaining transports. This proved to be a double edged sword though, the final transport's engine was hit and a carrier collided with it, the resulting explosion sent Aether's specially death dealing alloy across most of the Carrier fleet, killing the crews as the ships span wildly out of control, destroying thirty in total. This was not the only spectacle of the affair though, after the third day of running one of the transport's cargo bays was blasted open, and numerous drones were scattered across the Germanic fleet, causing wide spread confusion and allowing one of the transports the chance to disappear by powering down it's engines and drifting in space for three days before finally reactivating engines and making a bee-line for Earth. Could a new Super AI be controlling this ship which has fooled one of the greatest empires that has ever existed? Or was it sheer coincidence? The engine failure at the same time as the cargo bay being broken open? We may not have long to find out though, the ship has landed in China and has been swallowed by the Imperial Army, but we wait with eager anticipation for this new foe to appear.

Survivors:

Brazil:

33/47 Battle ships remaining

65/141 Carriers

Aether:

25/25 Battleships

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Can you perhaps say exactly which ships were destroyed?

Sorry if it causes a problem, but it lets me update my stats a lot easier.

2Xeo5.png

Alright then, thanks.

2Xeo5.png

Helios orbs are for planetary defense though? Also, what is this "death dealing alloy"? First I've heard of it...

Sorry, but it's kinda [cabbage] that 200 something odd ships didn't manage to completely destroy his fleet.

Ross had better explain it because I can't even spell it.

Doesn't really count unless he's actually explained it in the thread though.

Helios orbs are primarily for planetary defense, but I thought up a little tactic to annoy enemy fleets, I simply scatter them over the battlefield and let them blast away. Each one packs 6 ARC cannons in different directions, and they can all fire at once if the situation requires it. They basically just spin around raining death on nearby enemy ships.

The alloy Archi is talking about isn't really an alloy, it's the metal I discovered, but calling it an alloy instead of a metal really makes no difference. Its name is Nerexcite, for the record.

It's an extremely radioactive material which coats the inside of all my ships. If any ship is destroyed, the material would presumably leak over the battlefield. And a lot of ships were destroyed, meaning there was a lot of Nerexcite around the battlefield.

(I did explain it, multiple times, actually. It's a counter measure against infiltration and hijacking. Any biological life that enters one of my ships is bombarded by massive amounts of radiation.)

I presume the main downfall was telling your ships to target the carriers at all costs, because that would give perfect oppurtunity for my ships and orbs to pick off your ships.

(I just realised I sounded like a morally superior [wagon] just then, so sorry about that)
