Rocco has a legitimate virus. He spent time researching it, so he should be able to use it, regardless of your race.

I can help create a vaccine by sending computers and scientists, but you should still think about evacuation and other measures.

He/she has put to use the shields I sent him/her a week ago, although rocco just claims they won't work.

Doom already said they won't stop my drones, just slow them down. Which is actually better for me because it reduces the chance that they'll be smashed and release the virus at the surface of the water.

But thing is she's incorrect, plasma windows were created for the sole reason of blocking matter completely:

Uh, no. Not really.

Plasma becomes increasingly viscous (thick) at higher temperatures, to the point where other matter has trouble passing through.

That doesn't mean matter can't pass through, it makes it more difficult for it though.

But that is when not in plasma windows, plasma windows are made to hold even the force of a gas at an extremely high barometic preassure away from total vacuum, and when a high preassure, low density gas can't pass, why should bullets be able to do it?

Mather, I think the best way I could explain it is like this. A wall will hold atmosphere in. Doesn't mean the wall is invulnerable. Hell, a plastic bag will hold the internal atmosphere in.

Here are the basic FACTS.

Recea Decimus is going to be attacked by a large fleet from Yguah, which is 11.23 light years away.

Mather is deploying Atlantis, and sending shielding devices from Imezon, which is 18 light years away.

Therefore Rocco's fleet will get there first and will not suffer from having to fight Atlantis.

Therefore there is no uber cure.

Therefore there are no shields.

 

My fleet of 10 ships it is tired of listening to the Licht news reports, which seem to have no baring on reality.

 

The Vaccine will take 20 years to complete, not 10.

 

If people want to argue pointless about these things, shouting 'I win because this this and this' then fine, but I will make the decision at the appropriate time and you arguing amongst yourselves means that people are less incline to moderate my decision because it silences the circular argument.

 

So to recap:

Retech is on his own again.

It will take 3/6 years before anyone else can work on a Vaccine since they need to get to Recea Decimus, get a sample, get home and then start work.

Working collaboratively on a Virus will +2 years and then half the time remaining rounded up. So 1 person it is 20 years, 2 people it is 11 years, 3 people is 7 years, 4 people is 5 years, 5 people is 4 years, 6 people is 3 years, 7 people is 3 years, and 3 years to infinity after this.

The Virus will kill 50% of the population, and 50% per turn after that.

Mather's tech will be overhauled at some point because it causes too many arguments because it is unrealistically based on the pseudo science of Stargate, which doesn't even take itself seriously.

Retech will be silenced if he doesn't stop just randomly declaring things.

 

Yeah, Hegemony is meant to be fun but lets not confuse fun with being pointlessly abrasive. You can posture as much as you like but you are only trying to convince me(or everyone else, which isn't going to happen with Retech and Rocco at polar opposites) so if you want to make your weapons more powerful PM me and I will decide.

Just to state the point: This comes into force on the 2nd of December, and becomes binding on the 9th of December, so it is fairly important that any mistakes I make are picked up because there will not be the facility to change them afterwards(since it would be unfair and unbalancing).

 

(If you go to the Search button, select root bodies only and then press search, all the systems with something in the 'political' column have something in them, the others probably don't, but checking is a good idea.)

A space station will be built over Britanniae for trade reasons.

 

A defence station (kind of ironic for us to build one, really) will be built over Kajea, and another defence station will be built over Britanniae. These stations are designed solely for defensive purposes only. They will each contain a large hangar containing hundreds of stellar fighters and goal-keeper railguns. (Would suck if a rock hit the station) If any debris is on a collision course with Britanniae, Kajea, or Gaia (one of Kajea's moons), the fighters will exit the hangars through a plasma window and intercept and destroy the stray debris. This should ensure that the ecosystem will not be bombarded by any foreign objects.

 

Three colony ships are scheduled to be built.

Britanniae should have the following objects orbiting it:

Wow...I think in the past 3 pages, only a few posts were not argumentive in one way or another. Hell, one page was almost entirely idiotic "Random event" posts. I'm getting really fed up with this game, you guys are constantly at eachothers throats. Guys, just let rocco blow some steam off at Retech. He probally wouldn't be virus bombing in the first time if everyone else just stayed out of it to start. I'm getting really fed up with this game, and if this keeps up, I'll probally quit. Oh, first one to ask "If you quit, can I have yexenus", I hate you.

 

And I agree, archi. Although you may have done things wrong at one point (MAY HAVE, I'm really not sure, I just don't want to take sides here), give him a break. Everyone here has made a mistake at one point or another, so don't get mad at him because he does.
