Oh, so even faster than I expected. Well considering I have 100 billion people, of which 10 billion are intelligent females. We can assume that at least 1 billion are capable of working on the project, and they will do so without many negative side effects. Instead of Ultra Steel, I will use Iridium Monopole. Most of the core components will be made in space, which will take 100,000 PP, even though the fighting value is only 20,000 PP, to meet the Sa Matra requirement.

 

Also, I can't use Laser Shifting. You have the plans for it, as does everyone else, so I need to make an encrypted version as well. Of course it has laser shifting though, for the communications with everyone else.

Retech, a coilgun that's 1.3333 km long would probably launch a projectile at the speed of light, if not even faster. :shock:

TFed military has added a terrain training programme to the military. Units will be going through extensive training in mountainous, marsh, jungle, tundra, forest, and hilly terrain.

The Sa Matra is 100,000 PP fight value atm, so all ships can be at the max 20,000 PP. Unless the old Sa Matra is retired or destroyed of course.

you do realize that through conventional methods (Think coilgun) it is impossible to get anything close too or faster than the speed of light.

Grim, a coilgun only one meter long can launch a projectlie at supersonic speeds using only 500+/- volt, time both those with 1333 and you'll have the one he makes.

Which are decided by the amount of friction(air resistance) added in flight, remove friction(since there's none in space) and you'll have maximum velocity; near infinite.

Anyways jet-fighters don't fall at supersonic speeds, neither does bullets yet they both accelerate above it.

So essentially Rocco you have a PP value of 20,000, if your fighters are the same as the rest of ours.

Especially in game.

 

Laser Shifting is creating a micro wormhole(3 photons(end to end) in diameter) then firing a moduated gamma pulse though it. The gamma pulse is decoded(takes 5 minutes for you lot, 8 seconds for me) at the other end.

 

Mather you can't beam though, your EM signals don't have a tight enough confinement. Translating them into Gamma pulses would be near impossible due to the Heisenburg Uncertainity principle and Gammaring them(The method I use) is impossible to research(for obvouis reasons)

Bullets do fall by the way Mather. A bullet fired perfectly flat will hit the ground at the same time as one dropped from the same point, assuming it doesn't hit anything.

Most Lethal...it needs to blow a human into atoms and then those atoms into gamma radiation. Its a very...very high dose.

10 stations spend the whole year building this huge ship. The other 25 spend it mass producing fighters (my fighters are slightly smaller than school buses to give you an idea). Makes sense to me.

Using even a loose version of the PP system it would take 5 years for 10 stations to build a 10000pp ship, and the 25 stations would put out 5000 fighters a year. If you put 25 stations on the big ship, you could make 1 every 2 years, and then 2000 fighters a year with 10 on that. I know you're not using the PP system, but because you're not your having an overpowered production rate.

No, they're worth 1. Each station puts out 200 pp/year. 10*200=2000. 2000pp/2000fighters=1pp/fighter

If a gun is fired at a perfectly flat angle, the bullet will hit the ground at the same time as the bullet dropped from the same point. It will be much further away, obviously, but still.

It would take like a second or so for the bullet to hit the ground, at which point it would be a huge distance away. Bullets usually hit something before they hit the ground, obviously.

Orthogonal forces have no effect on eachother, so obviously you're the one messing up.

The downward forces are the same.

 

This assumes a flat plane (unlike the earth), and no wind and so on.

Rocco, how much do you spend on each station and how much does each of your stations produce? Remember the trade off is the more you put in stations, the less you put into your fleet.
