archimage_a
Dusty do you want me to generate the system? Just to remind people. If you want to discover a system you should ask me or Doom. But only if there are no uninhabited systems(and only 3 systems can be colonised at a time) Oh and Retech no, it wasn't your probe. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Nero
I was under the impression that we weren't going to create anymore planets for colonization, or else what's really the point in trying so hard and going through all this conflict over planets if you can just magically "find" however many you want. If Sere gets a system to colonize, then everyone else should as well. Vienna Raszyn Warsaw Klushino
Seraphi
I think there should just be a chance to discover one when using a probe...?
archimage_a
Well I was going with the realism aspect of it all, that there are stars out there, you just have to head for them.Course stars could contain anything, good or bad, thats the element of chance.(Why I asked if you wanted me to generate it, since Seres system doesn't contain any habitable planets, so he has to terraform it. )If we want to go with a more constricting policy then we could create some sort of planetary exploration directive, who would discover a system every month (or something) and then it is autioned to the highest bidder. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Aeon_
Been away again. :wall: <_< What's happened? Just to confirm, have I salvaged the tech from the Urk Orz or whatever, and adapted it? Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber
Retech
Well I'm assuming that most of them will have rotted away, but keep in mind there are piles of dead bodies. The ones farthest in will still contain methane, due to the anaerobic enviroment. It's more of the methane I'm capturing, rather than the dead bodies. :) Master of your domain? Seraphi
Hmm...So Archi, what kinds of bad events do you have planned upon discovering new systems? Personally, I don't plan to colonise very far away, as I don't need much space anyway.
archimage_a
The Militopian Games ended in Violence after the Britannic team scored only one medal. The host nation was so embaressed that both the King and Prime Minister were absent at the award ceremony. Chants from the Terran Federation sent Britannic fans into a frenzy and fifty eight people were killed as well as over a thousand wounded. Terran officals have critised the Britannic police arrangements as 'Sub-Standard' going on to comment 'If their police go though the same training program as their athletes it is little wonder that they can't police their way out of a paper bag!' Referancing the Giga FLOP event where a paper battery cap was left on one of the Britannic circuits, causing the whole computer to not start.Britannic armed forces were soon brought in and calmed the situation but new training regimes have been demanded by citizens. We caught up with one of them 'I can't believe that the Government has got this lax! Under King John it wouldn't have been like this!' Is this the start of a return to militarism for the Britannics? We will bring you more on this story as it develops. And now for the rest of the scores. The Mechos won 2 events:Basketball and the Techno Gymnastics The System of Free Worlds won 8 events:The Outdoor Sprints, The Mile Sprint, The 5,000 Meter Steeple Chase, The Grand Prix, Land Polo and the Penta FLOP, as well as the Techno Marathon and the Lightsecond Marathon Kamino won 4 events:Boxing, Football, Javelin and Shot Put The Stargate group won 4 events:Pole Vault, Fencing, Build a Bomb and the Drinking Contest Britannia won 1 event:The Wrestling Malaysia won 11 events:Water Sports, the GM Marathon, Discus throw, Weight Toss, High Jump, Relay Race, Canoeing, Horse Racing, Dueling, Weight Lifting, and Sailing Brazil won 4 events:Modern Pentathalon, Giga FLOP, Minaturisation and Yotta FLOP The Nigerian Empire won 6 events:Hammer Throw, Race Walking, Regular Gymnastics, Hand Ball, Water Polo and Metals of Wonderment The Licht Empire won 8 events:Indoor Sprint, Caber Toss, Triple Jump, GM Gymnastics, Skeet Shooting, Trap Shooting, Cycling and Rowing The Terran Empire won 3 events:The Hurdles, Diving, Long Jump and Radiation Test http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. Retech
This is amazing. My athletes won cycling when they can even ride bikes! Yet somehow I still lose Water Polo and Diving. :P --------------- Tectonic Activity is good for everyone but Ross, because without it, carbon dioxide would slowly sequester itself into the rock, leaving the atmosphere devoid of carbon dioxide required for plant life. archimage_a
Well a planet could tectonically die. Retech
It would be horrible. All the carbon dioxide would basically be absorbed into the rock, with nothing to spew it back out. It's known as carbon sequestration, which is an idea on how we can prevent global warming. Of course, it's a major problem, especially for the biosphere 2 project, where the carbon dioxide began sequestrating into the concrete. Less Carbon Dioxide > Less Oxygen Master of your domain?
