The basic run down?

 

 

 

Okay, we're seeing the emergence of 3 (or 4) super-powers right now, sort of 1984-esque. Any war between them would inevitably end up in a stale-mate, due to the huge amounts of land they all possess. There's a big space-race also going on right now, with most smaller countries gobbling up plots of land on Mars for colonies, and Brazil having a planet all to themselves in Alpha Centauri, and Germania soon to have one all to themselves in a presently undisclosed part of the galaxy.

 

 

 

Then we're seeing the rapid emergence of new tech - life expanding drugs, extreme weather colonization, artificial intelligence, plasma weaponry, laser weaponry, exosuits, walkers, etc etc.

You can't just insta-conquer nations, especially if you've just joined the game; since you have next to no military and are spending most of your money getting up to present game-year tech (I think we're at 2041 or something). Just wait a few years, built up your military, and then try taking it.

Instead, people will be regularly given doses of "soma" (combo of coccaine and morphine plus some other stuff). Actually it's based on "Brave New World" which is the father of virtually every utopia book. I figured I'd spark some creativity/controversy to escape the boredom. In about 10 years, Luxembourg will be more or less identicle to Brave New World.

Your presense (and Malaysia) is greatly appreciated :D. Rioting has calmed down, the curfew will however remain. Detention is no longer required, and the German prisoner has been released into nuetral custody. Permission must be granted by higher officials for the public to assemble or stay out past curfew, as well as visit other countries effective immidiatly.

 

 

 

And to specify cloning: it involves splicing a female egg into 96 "buds" making each egg worth roughly 90 humans (room for error). the artificial wombs have been upgraded to hold as many as 2000 at a time. Clones will now be divded into groups of a hierchy,

 

Alpha (normal human, upper class, more attractive and intelligent)

 

Beta (normal human, lower class, slightly stronger)

 

Gamma (Human grunt, not very intelligent)

 

Delta (Human grunt, made to do mundane tasks that would make any other class insane)

 

 

 

Humans must pass an excruciating test before donating their genes to cloning. Most(clones) will be sterilized, however 20% will remain fertile for further cloning purposes.

Actually unless he has recruited he has little to no military because i just conquered them (with liberal amounts of carpet bombing) for him and after establishing him pulled out... so I would advise focusing on civil affairs for the time being

Brilliant. I now have dozens of factories over Burma. We're making alot of steel, so we're slowing but surely building buildings.

 

 

 

We have a healthcare program set up, now. Healthcare is free, no exceptions. We need workers happy and healthy to help us colonize. We've been recruiting a police force, too. We're still rapidly growing, and mass producing raw materials to be used. We're beginning to send fishing ships out, too.

 

 

 

Everything is steady. We hope to do some health and weaponery research in the near future.

Other news: Germania has begun retrofitting several of its fighter-interceptors to allow them to operate in space, albeit over much shorter distances. They'll be sealed completely airtight, with the ammunition supply being separate from the plane. AKA vipers from BSG... :D

 

Germania has also decided that making 3 ships solely for transport of people would not guarantee the safety of our colonization effort, and so 1 of them has had its design slightly altered so that it can serve as an escort ship. This drops the carrying capacity from 75,000 to 40,000, but it guarantees that when the ships arrive at the new planet, they will be safe from any external threat. These new ships will also carry around a dozen of the retrofitted fighter-interceptors.

Oh, and I forgot if I mentioned this before, but the extreme-weather colonization drug is finished, and has been shared with all countries that have research teams on Haven (sorry Burma :P). The directions on how to make the drug have been relayed to the ship I sent out to colonize the other planet, and some of their medical personnel have been woken from cryogenic sleep to manufacture enough of the drug to give to everyone on the ship (roughly 50,000 people I think it was). The ship has a built-in tech base and full medical lab, as well as all the necessary tools and supplies to get a colony started on another planet. Should reach the planet in 19 years now.

More news: Germania has started building its own space-shipyard, so that it doesn't have to rely on Russia's facilities. While Russia's is large enough to accomodate both nations, we don't want to encroach too far on their generosity :)

 

 

 

Germania has also started Project Cleanup, with aims to clear the Earth's inner and outer atmosphere of as much derelict space junk possible. It has begun consrtuction on 3 ships specifically designed for this purpose. The ships will be crewed by a 3-man team. 1 pilot, 1 engineer, and 1 person who will go out to the space-junk and attach mini-plasma rockets to them, so that they can be set on a trajectory towards the sun. Any other nation that wants to help out is welcome to as well. Germania will start with cleaning up the objects in geo-sync orbit over Germanian lands, then move to international land.

 

Don't shoot my planes down though. They don't have any actual weapons on them.

 

 

 

The former Libyan armed forces have also been integrated into Germania's army, to the tune of around 100,000 new recruits. 500,000 recruits have also joined up from across Germanian lands, and are going through training now. Half of Germania's army now has the integrated brain chips, around 1,000,000 have Russian exosuits, and roughly 3,000,000 have had the biological agent applied that enhances human strength and bone durability.
