russia has claimed a piece of land on mars, our ship having just landed (i honestly dont care which piece, some1 just draw me in somewhere on the mars map)

 

 

 

the ship sent a drop pod to the surface, the main ship remaining still in low orbit as it cant be launched from a planet and must remain in orbit. the ship has been sent back to the spacestation to begin further upgrades and tests to increase travel speed, and then it will be sent with a colonising team to the new possible life sustaining planet - which is going to be named NR2 (new russia, the planet is the 2nd from its local star)

 

 

 

we are also reworking our plasma weapons, and using their technology to build powerplants as we now have a more effective weapons system in place (project details remain top secret until their first official use in war, whenever it happens...) and no longer need to use the plasma ones

 

 

 

oh and dusty, as for building your own space centres so u dont overstretch my generosity, theres no need, use mine as much as you please. mine are big enough, so it doesnt bother me. im not saying DONT build your own, but feel free to continue using mine for as long as required

Japan maneuvers it's fleet to invade the Philippines. With an army of only 120,000, combined with the help of our spies sent there a few months ago to cause dissent, we expect the island to fall under Japanese control by the end of the year.

 

 

 

My scientists are working towards a method of increasing the speed of my naval ships, as well as teching towards stronger and more effective Anti-air defences.

All is peaceful in the land of Kazakh :uhh:. We have introduced voter reform, voting is no longer based on age, but intelligence. We are now introducing project Colon. It will be finished in 4 years. Project rectum will be complete in 5 years, along with our space program. Project tapeworm had some delays, and will not be finished for 4 years. We are now unveiling details on project Serpent. It involves first settling Mars, then launching a space station, and then a battleship. Our Somilian colony has passed a law outlawing piracey, and has vowed to destroy the remaining pirates.

We've built several large citys, and now have hundreds of tonnnes of raw materials ready for use. We've also began to grow in population. We've established a small, but steadt growing army. Currently at 50,000 members. We've had a few minor problems that set us back a bit, but for the time being, burma is thriving.

 

 

 

Oh, we've begin to set up a military base, with a science lab and a few factories. Hopefully it'll be ready for use in 4 months or so, and finished in a year. When it's done, we'll be doing s ome weapon projects.

 

 

 

And on a final note, we have started a project for water purification. Hopefully, we'll be finished in 3 months and every burma household will have one within a year.

You remind me of me when i started. Slow down a bit. even something as simple as a water purifier would take 1-2 years to be ready for distribution. Also, if you arent aware, 1 day = 1year, 2 hours = 1 month, 4 min. = 1 day.

I'm building my own though, since a lot of its early ships being built are going to center around FTL research, which could have unexpected (disastrous) results that could damage a space station.

 

 

 

Germanian news:

 

The 20 1-man ships have been completed, and 3 have been sent to test slingshoting around the sun to possibly reach hyperspace/speed. Latino's ship is coming along nicely, and should be ready in a year.

 

 

 

Project Groundwork is complete, and has raised the GDP per capita of Germania's African territories by around $2000. The shipyard in Tunisia has also been completed, and is producing a steady stream of naval vessels, at around 4 per year.

 

The new tanks (aka mobile heavy artillery) is also coming along nicely, and the first prototype has been tested. However, initial tests put the tanks max speed at around 6 mph, which is wholly unacceptable, so the design is being completely reworked.

 

25 more MAASs have been produced, and are stationed within Inner Germania. 10,000 troops have been sent to Iceland to reinforce the garrison there, and 25,000 more have been sent to Greenland, where they will under-go their extreme weather guerilla warfare training.

 

 

 

300,000 recruits have joined from accross Germania, bringing Germania's military strength to around 25,000,000. 3 million more troops have been moved to Africa-Germania to help stabilize the area and provide security from the lingering militant groups. A dedicated effort is being made to eradicate these groups, as they have proven themselves to be little more then petty thugs with only money and power in mind. All those in these groups will be publicly hanged, and their properties seized and sold.

The drug induces a reaction in the body that produces chemicals similar to the ones that arctic fishes produce (a natural anti-freeze) that allows the body to withstand the extreme cold without triggering hypothermia or frostbite. It was developed on Haven, so you have access to the drug as well. It also would mean that planets with extremely cold environments that would have made them previously uninhabitable can now support human life.

Just a little update, research into space battleships continues, with a prototype in construction now.

Religion in Aether has basically been dismantled through propoganda, with very few devout worshippers left.

agreed, im not selling anything to findenland. likewise, my army has also been mobilised and awaiting orders to aid in the defence of germania if required. my weapons system is being relocated to be usable on findenland and we have dispatched warships to idle off the coast of findenland in as many places as possible, fitted with anti aircraft weapons. that combined with the anti-aircraft weapons on the russian mainland means little to no planes will be able to leave findenland

in other news, russia is beginning to spend alot of money on making more satelites, as both military communications and defence systems for our spacestation/ship. there is going to be a network of 24 satelites (minimum) in this system, with weapons that can be utilised in 0g situations
