Now I know I don't have any 99s yet, so don't make me aware of it.

 

 

 

I know the trick you can do to keep untrimmed 99 capes by telegrabbing them if you get a second 99.

 

But do you have to do this for all subsequent 99s as well?

I think that was just a glitch and its been fixed now. As soon as you get another 99 your cape WILL be trimmed no matter what. Am i wrong?

Can anyone confirm/refute that?

Well, I did it for my triple 99 a while ago when I was trimming HP, but you have to tele-grab it for each and every 99, with all the capes you have. I did it for the first two 99s I got, but forgot about it for the last, and it trimmed. Dunno if its fixed however.

The wiki isn't always right. It doesn't report glitches or bugs.

Regular capes will automatically be changed into the trimmed style the instant the player obtains a second level 99 skill, regardless of whether a second cape is purchased.

sounds like even if you drop your cape and then get the next 99, as soon as you reaquire your cape it will be trimmed upon pickup

Yes it does, but telegrabbing it will apparently keep it untrimmed.

I was told capes trim on the ground if they are dropped

I really wouldn't reccomend doing the tele grab trick if it still works because it sounds like a bug to me.

i tried this at 99 str, it trims the ones on the ground when u hit 99.

I always thought that if you had your untrimmed cape in your grave you receive upon death, then get your 99, go to your grave, pick it up, it would be untrimmed. It worked for me =3
