We are working on a project right now that we need some artistic help with. We are looking for help to make self-advertisements for Tip.It.

 

 

 

If you don't quite follow, these would be somewhat like Jagex have on their website: Advertisements of OUR site content on our site/forums. They wouldn't generate money for the site, but they would direct attention to some not-so-used parts of the website.

 

 

 

We are looking for flashy images with somewhat of a slogan for that feature that would make people want to click on them. These can be images or flash (no sound) if you have the know-how. The dimensions for them are 728 width and 90 height for the top bars and 160 width and 600 height for the banners appearing on the right side of the website.

Well, I was thinking of how we could do that. A signature in the corner first off should be fine, just keep it simple so it doesn't draw all the attention. When they go live we will also give a big thanks on the main page to everyone who has helped out.

Ill do photoshop Cs3 Flash doesn't agree with me. Anyone know how to get photoshop pics/layers into flash without flash making the detail weird? Eg. Make a pure red heart in photoshop, copy the layer, paste in flash and it makes the detail from 1 full colour so.... so.... strange lol.

I used this one. Its in PNG and its pretty clean if using photoshop as you can use the magic wand on the outside and just ctrl+shift+I it. It does have that reflection thou if you want to delete that.

 

 

 

It looks dirty around the outside. No idea why but theres no extra pixels that I can find in the PNG lol

 

 

 

Not the best, did it a few months back. Hopefully a .psd source can be found soon! ;)

 

 

 

I have a transparent Tip.it Logo PSD file if you guys are interested :) Peter himself said that it was pretty good :o Lol :P It's the logo that I used for the Tip.it Dynamic Signatures and my banners (shown a few posts up).

This sounds like it'll be fun, I havent used Gimp in a while but ill have to change that ;)

If I can come up with something I'll try. Is there a size (Kb) limit, or just as small as is capable without ruining the image quality?

Just keep it reasonable, i would try to avoid anything over 200kb.

Here's my very basic Clans ad... Yeah we're gonna rethink that as it's some 900kb. Looks nice though.
