stevester77
(also theres "punk" rock even tho i dont consider it rock (this is greenday blink182 good charlotte etc.) The bands you listed are in no way punk, the only thing they are is crap. Also don't forget alternative rock (my favorite) or indy rock. There are even more genre's but some of them not many have heard of such as art rock (i like it), arena rock, and so on and so forth. Give us a few bands to go off of. Then we can take those bands and give you songs that you might like (though not necessarily by those artists). E_D_G_E_1039
^^ I was at the mall, decided to blow a buck on one of those drumming video games (which I won back, since I scored 4/4 perfect  ), and the bonus song it selected was "Faith No More - Epic" 8) no not really u need to tell us what kind of rock theres all kinds from death metal to oldies death metal = bunch of screaming (hardest rock there is) metal = some what singing but still very hard current = basiclly anything that has come out within a year or two but doesnt fall in metal or higher classic = basicly stuff by aero smith ozzy rush those kind of bands... oldies = elvis presley falls into this catagory (so go by that) (also theres "punk" rock even tho i dont consider it rock (this is greenday blink182 good charlotte etc.) so... what kind? Just because you dont consider punk to be rock (though it clearly is, seeing as even you referred to it as punk rock), doesnt mean it isn't rock. I could list off all of my "rock" songs, but I really dont have the time right now. You could easily find a program, enter the genre you'd like, hit search, and within seconds, you have hundreds of choices.

Hulk12
Wow. I read the title then read the posts and something just is not right. The man wants to know some good rock songs. Not the battle between "punk" bands. Anyway: I'm not into the "current" stuff but I am a classic listner. My favourite band (AC/DC) has put a some songs that I find awesome (hint: I, just because you don't like my tastes don't bash.) Some of my favourites are Thunderstruck, Riff Raff, Honey What Do You Do For Money, etc. Basicly any AC/DC album you pick up is going to have some song you might of heard before. I also enjoy the stylings of Ozzy, Kiss, Metallica (I know someone is gonna be complaing that Metallica is more metal than classic but really shut up already.) Metallica: For Whom The Bell Tolls Jump Into The Fire Frantic (ok really St. Anger "sucked" but I liked this song.) Ozzy: Hellraiser Mississppi Queen (yes it's a cover) Really I could post my playlist and take up half a page but I'll save you the scrolling. I like alot of bands.... ALOT of bands.
