Obvious troll, but I'll bite. Normal players will usually save up for an expensive item rather than go spend hours and hours for the CHANCE to get one, or in my case, I don't have the stats to solo sara GWD everyday for a few months to get a hilt and ss.

MorningRise, that post has nothing to do with mine. I'm saying if you want an abby whip, train up to 85 (If you don't already have) and kill demons til. Thats what Itam does instead of buying with gp, what's stopping you?

 

 

 

Almost 87 Slayer right now. My response is directly related to your argument. A good portion of players would rather not train to 85 Slayer or solo GWD for a year to get everything they want. Is anything stopping them? No. Does that mean that they should play the game the way Saruman44 thinks they should? No, you imbecile.

 

 

 

He said the guy doesn't worry about having money yet Itam 69 said so himself its hard to get money without trading so yes I agree with saruman44 with that statement being idiotic.

To clarify, I was not referring to the difficulty that he has obtaining money. I was referring to him not worrying about saving up a 50m cash pile when he wants a Saradomin Godsword. He just goes out and gets it, which I wouldn't have the patience to do, ergo, I commend him for his patience and I applaud his achievements.

^^; well right before the big shop update, i was mining gold, got to 2k, then bam, found out onyx gems became super hard to get from shop..any suggestions on how i should go about getting the tokkul for an onyx gem? id really like to get fury before i try kree again, or bgwd -_- i currently have 50k chaos runes (which sell for less tokkul than a fire rune, dhurrrrr???) so thats out of the question now. but i still have 30k death and 100k fire runes which i could sell for tokkul, but id still need like 400k++ runes to do it, i only have karamja gloves 2, which dont offer any discount on the onyx gem, and i still get 10 tokkul from fire runes, and 18 tokkul from death runes, which get halved after selling like 200 -_- so fml? will i ever get fury :S afk quitting rs :(

 

 

 

ps. sgwd = fukkd now that using a potion stops you from running, it seems like every time i need to heal my prayer points, zilyana has a 75%+ chance of meleeing me, monk fish dont give much room for error when you want 3 kills per run. fml even harder.

Yes you can buy stuff from shops, otherwise it would be almost completly impossible to level lol.

Yes you can buy stuff from shops, otherwise it would be almost completly impossible to level lol.

 

Technically not, as SC rewards almost all tools with double xp, tinderboxes are dropped by loads of things, or you can barb firemake at a later level. Theres respawns for probably 90% of skill items needed. (hammer, knife etc)

this brings back memories of when i was first a low level f2p/early member, when me and my brother and sister all shared the same computer. when we where first finding out about jad and obby items, we did most everything DIY because back then there was no anonamous trading like there is with the GE today. we just traded with eachother really. i'm adding you ingame, look out for a pm from Agile Cookie :D
