I remember trying to kill a lvl 2 man and got angry when another player was standing beside me watching...was so nervous that he was gonna steal my precious loot after my lvl2 man dies... :ohnoes:

ill tell you wat i did, i got lost for 7 hours :wall:

i remember someone showing me around lumby and showing me what to do to get started. then i wandered west looking for a bank totally missing dranor and anding up by the water near where mudskipper point now is (wasn't there back then). i trained fishin right by that church then wandered east into port sarim where i killed goblins and rats. then my real life friend who was also starting out with me found a guy who died and got full steel for free. boy was i jealous. i tried to catch up to him by working on karamja plantation for 30 gp a box. :D good times.

I believe that I spent the days training combat on Cows. I didn't like seeing so many people as "red."

When i got out of tutorial island my real life friend was waiting to give me a tour of the game and some items. he gave me full bronze and 1k, i thought he was real rich. I then followed him to varrok, but he had to go. i kept walking in the dirction he told me, and got kiled by the wizards in the stone henge area. i lost the 1k, and thout it was the worst thing ever.

 

 

 

i quikly logged off thinking that if i didnt save my stuff would still be there (omg how noobish i was). thats pretty much it.

ya i thought the same thing the first time i died there... i swere more people die there than in the wilderness

i met a guy in the mine in al-kharid, i was scraming to the scorpions to go away, then a great hero with full iron(rofl) appeared and asked me if i wanted some armour. i said yes.

 

 

 

he sai follow so i clicked afer him all the time, he aid lol. i didnt know what lol was so i said... "lol!".

 

 

 

he answered,"ricght click me and choose follow"

 

 

 

so i did and we went to varrok, he smithed full iron to me , i added him and he said see you around...

i was trying to complete toturial island,but where you need to fight the rats,i didnt came out.

i walked around looking at things in awe.....and then..omg i saw an iron full helm on the ground!i quickyl grabbed it and put it on,my friends were so jealous. after this my power went out and i already needed to play more....because i had contracted the most deadly disease....this evil runescape which has consumed me since day 1... :wall:

I knew someone who had played for a while longer so he told me to go train on goblins.

 

 

 

I didn't know anything about attack styles either but I did switch them randomly XD So I got a few att def and str lvls right there and then my friend showed me around. I remember him poiting at someone with a rune scimmy, he said that'sthe best weapon you can get :P I found a mithril scimmy not much later and thought it was the best weapon because the colours look so much alike :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The early days for me were mostly selling big bones and training mage for me though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I even remember my friend showing me how to sell regular bones as if they were big bones for 200each :oops: never ever scammed since though :P

i walked around for hours picking stuff up

On my first day of Runescape I walked around the cities and a man by Doc41 helped me.

I killed mens until I got a talisman, and i thinked "wow, a power talisman!!!" and thought it would give me super powers.... Lesser demon thinked otherwise....

on my first day i got the game show random event, and i got 1k. With the 1k i thought i was richer then everyone else in rs. someone was selling a g hide set for like 30k of something and i offered 30gp :wall:

My first day I went questing..... did Rune Mysteries..... had been mining some copper/tin for a while, then realized how COOL it was that I could mine essence, take it to bank, and it would never run out XD I mined my way from level 13 to level 62 mining on essence.... and at level 30 i found out "members can now mine pure essence" and I thought that was cool so I became a member, 32 levels on pure ess XD And that took about my first month..... cause I couldn't really play all that much.... but the funniest thing of all:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I never found the air temple to go craft those essences..... and I had about 20,000 of both kinds of essence (or more) and I didn't realize how much they sold for each..... so I noted them and dropped them XD Thats like what 3 mill in essence, XD and then i decided I was poor because I didn't have enough cash to afford full steel armor >.< XD I was dumb

On my first day outside tutorial island i went tried to find my way to varrok by switching back and forth from the world map. Before i left lummy i got a set of Bronze armor from a person for free :D as i was going to varrok i passed by the dark wizards lvl 7 and 20. i thought i could take on one of the lvl 20 wizards. so i went up and started to attack him. i ended up dying and losing my full bronze armor lol. i was so mad i had lost it just cause it was the only thing that i had on the game even though it isnt worth much i didnt know much back then anyways cause i was a newb lol

i cant remember but i think i started killing rats to raise my lvl. :?: :?: :?:

i got butchered by a dark wiz, got PO'ed, tried again, died again, and that repeats about 4 times, before i realize you can run from combat... #-o

 

 

 

By the way, this was back in 'O1. Yes, I am a longtime player, but lost my account for 8 months. :D

well on my 1st day i was walking around and i found my way to varrock and mined some tin and copper then had a look in varrock then got lost lol 1 day later i found my way out of varrock and back to lumby then i whonted to see felly so i whont to varrock then west to felly but... got killed buy a barb person in barb vill ..sigh and i thort that it was like a real person eny way when i was back in lumby i killed a man and i was like w00t!!! cos i thort if was a person himm well about a weak later i manged to get 10K buy mining and smithing and selling the stuff i made so i buyed full mith then later on fell for the "free armmer triming" scam and lost my full mith and quit for a wile but that never stoped me 1 weak later i was back on mahahahahahahaahah .. oh and i got revenge on that barb person on barb vill at level 10 well now im level 87 and going soooo good

I walked around, killed goblins, then I saw the Ar-Kedish gate. I ran for it, sure that the desert promised amazing fun; thats when I discovered I needed to pay 10gp to go through.... I became very frustrated when I realized I only had 3 gp and I remeber wondering: Will it take another 2 hours to get that much money?!?

killed sum goblins...and they dropped a bronze sq!!! I felt soo powerfull

punched cows, tried to light houses on fire, and sold iron daggers to lumby general store

I got killed 3 Times (Twice by a cow, and once by the Rat near the Varrock East mines), and did Rune Mysteries Quest with my Brother.

I remember getting annoyed and ranting on about being able to use a tinderbox on logs, but not on trees themselves, and even after makign fires all the way around the trees still not being able to set the tree itself on fire. :'( I wanted a forest fire.
