he was walking around and my friends and i were teaching him. and one of my friends gets him to attack and normal man. him being all confused dosent know how to eat get killed. he then starts dancing for money and soon makes close to 1k

my first day was a lot differeent then anyone elses here.. being as i started playing 6 years ago, when everything was wild, there was no bank, you couldn't tell what cmb people were. no tut island to tell you what to do.. so i started playing very slowly.. not any idea what i did. rs has changed way to much to try and remember.

well on my first day of runescape.. i wonderd around lumby for like an hour or so trying to figure out how to make money... when my cousin(only friend at the at the time) finally logged in he said hi, i didnt know how to reaspond back so i ran around saying hi spooks give me money please!!!! everybody laughed at me it was fun.. :lol:

wow, my first day, i remember having to ask my friends hundreds of times where the furnace was so i could smelt my ores, then where the bank was. I really only mined on my first day, till i realized your "LV" that people were was a combat related thing, and mining doesn't raise it.

i remember i made an account, and never could figure out how to open the door on the first part of tutorial island. i eventually gave up and went on with life. like, a month later, my friend and i where looking for games and we found runescape. i told him it sucked, but he made an account anyway. he played and said it was awesome, so i went home and made another account, and i was instantly addicted, and that account is currently my main at level 89 ^_^

Went and mined in the SouthEast Varrock Mine, then would get a full load, would walk all the way down to Lumbridge, smelt it, Then would walk back up to Varrock, Smith the bars, Sell the stuff to a general store. I thought this was the best money and did it for like 2 weeks :oops: Got me the full Black Armour that I thought I looked so cool in. I got like 40 Smithing\Mining that way.

i sat there staring in wonder at the graphics o_o (before the new overhaul) and i thought theres no way this could be free (i was an mmorpg freak at the time.... still am lol) after that i noticed people asking for someone to take them to varrock, i asked too, after we got there... i kinda wished i was back at lumbridge. it was confusing >_<. then i just power mined and smithed my way too full bronze... after that i only remember getting scammed out of 100 gp and feeling devastated, then skyrocketing to level 26 and fishing for a month at karamja.

Heh on my first ever carachter i went to draynor manor and couldnt get back so i quit the game for a month. :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

lol, ion my 1st account, i got lost, so i quit. a few days later, i made a new account and asked my friend to show me around. he gave me iron armour and wepons \ . i was so happyyyyy.

on my first day (october 2005) i became a victim of the wine of zamorak scam :( when i died i hadnt an idea where the hell i was and just walked around until i somehow walked near the varrock dark magic circle. I saw delrith and thought that a player had summoned him. the dark mages killed me and i ended up in lumby again! :evil: later a guy guided me to fally as i wanted to go to the mine but the guy got killed by a cow lol!

almost 3.5 years ago....wow! i killed goblins and spent hours looking for an egg for cook's assistant, was wowed when someone walked past in full addy...then my RL pal pm-ed me and i did not know what private chat was so i stood in lumby store asking him how much a bronze full helm was :oops:

I raised my level to five on... I think rats, then decided to go adventuring (but keepng the castle in view on my minimap so I wouldn't get lost!) and saw a mugger... back then their level still read Level 4 (though they were as strong as a level 6) so I attacked it and... died. I managed to get some stuff back through killing men and asked someone to lead me to a bank so I wouldn't lose too much if I died again. He took me up to Varrock east bank, where I banked my stuff and bought a bronze b-axe, thinking it could cut trees... then I couldn't find my way back to Lumbridge. I found my way into Al-Kharid, passed the Duel Arena (wanted to go in but was nonmember... I thought it was a construction site) and made it to the gate to Lumbridge. The guy insisted I pay ten coins which would go to Al-Kharid. I thought this was too expensive, and I also thought I was entering Al-Kharid through that gate, so I turned away, vowing to one day overthrow the monarch of Al-Kharid. I exited the north enterance, thinking it was different than the one I entered, and found my way to the chicken farm north of Lumbridge. I was assured that I was far from Lumbridge now, so I decided to set up camp until I was stronger. I remained there for the next week training on chickens before seting out and finding Lumbridge just south of me almost instantly.

i wandered arround for ages trying to find a bank to but all my stuff

 

 

 

and i ended up in drayner

 

 

 

i deposited everything, and wandered arround again trying to figure out where everything was

 

 

 

it turned out that i just got lost again and couldnt find a bank to get anything else out

 

 

 

eventualy i found a bronse pic (barbarian village) and mined copper and tin to like 15 minning and got my smeltin up enough to make like bronse legs and chain or something

 

 

 

i thought i was the bomb

 

 

 

im not sure how many days later, but the second time i played i put everything away and went deep wildy (like lvl 15, but to me that was deep wildy at the time) and got so lucky

 

 

 

i found 1600 gold or so, a steel 2h, full steel, and some runes

 

 

 

i was the happiest person on runescape

 

 

 

i told my cuzen who had joined the same time i had and he was soooooo jelous

On my first day of rs1 I went to varrock then died to some man or theift or something, then got lost for the rest of the day trying to find varrock since it was the biggest city i wanted to go there.

I coudn't figure out how to talk :oops: but that's all I remember. I was so frustrated until i found out that all you had to do was just type.

i stood in varrock screaming "Where's Varrock!!!" over and over. also my friend told me to meet him at the cows (lumbridge) and somehow i ended up by crafting guild cows

When i joined people could still attack people in lumbridge, so i guess my first experience is being liked a couple of hundred times (voluntarily i might add (As people back then were kind enough not to kill you unless you wanted to be killed )) I then wondered about abit (took me maybe 3 months to discover anything outside lumbridge ... true there wasnt anything BUT lumbeidge back then .... oh, the good old days

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Like Aran23 i didnt figure out how to talk for along time ... i didnt even notice people talking untill one day byvarrock mines i noticed someone saying something .... and tried to type, IT WORKED

Ran up to varrock ( at the time i didn't know it was varrock :wink: )

I remember what i did on my first day...i killed goblins east of lumbridge unti it turned into a bone yard. I got 8 str 5att and 1 def the first day. The n someone told me i could bury the bones and gain prayer exp.

well i think i started killing goblins but didnt know why to change attack style so got an amazing attack 10 and 5 def. Then i made a mighty trek north and discovered the wonderful varrock mines where i mined and mined then lummy smelted and smithed to around 40 mining! and about 30 smithing which seemed incredible at the time.

Learnt what the wilderness was and did rune mysteries with a friend. WOW

I remember when I played this game, all i did was train attack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I found 3 full sets of shade robes, sold em for 10k ea and bought rune scimmy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I remember collecting chaos for money, at the mossies in lvl 38 wild.

 

I also tried to carry out a conversation with the drunken dwarf once but he started throwing rocks at me so I ran away and added him to my ignore list. Later realized he was an NCP.

Well he said talk to me, so I started asking how he was and stuff. I didn't realize to talk to him I had to click on him :oops: #-o. When he started throwing rocks at him I thought he was just mean to me because I was new. I wondered why there were a bunch of people laughing at me at the time.
