Cent 1: PC fps games > 360 fps games.

Cent 2: Fallen Earth > This, imo.

Anyway, just picked it up for the ps3. Gave me an excuse to buy another controller. I'll play it with my brother.

How is that trolling? Trolling =/= disagreeing with whatever you post. All he did was respectfully give his opinion.

That is almost blatant trolling. He's intentionally putting down games that aren't PC by saying PC games are better, and his post screams elitism. And that post has a huge hint of pretentiousness.

I remeber seeing an article on this game back in early '08. I was like: "Interesting."

 

Now after over a year later I am like: "I want this game!"

What's the difference though, besides portability, no xbox live, small screen, and will it work on Mac?

Unless you have an LCD screen for your 360, I might suggest PC. It's one of those games that is plagued by the problem some games have now: Unless you have that LCD big screen tv, you can't read the damn text! I have a 37inch box tv, and for the life of me I can't read the friggen stats on most of the guns.

 

 

Besides that, its a great game with an art style that is pretty good.

Got this today, haven't played too much of it but reached level 5 so far. Still mainly using the starting gun for my soldier with a decent-ish pistol for backup when I run out of ammo.

 

Going to play some more now for another hour or two and see how far I get, hopefully can reach level 10.

I bought it for 360, because I have a 70" TV :), and I didn't want to wait for the computer version. It is the most fun, and crazy, game I have every played. I'm a lvl 13 so far, and I picked Mordecai. The sniper I have is a beast, when it hits, it kind of blows up like a grenade and lights everyone around it on fire :thumbsup:

It's my parents, and it's not in my room. It's in the basement family room, they bought it just for whatever.

I thought I'd treat myself to this game and I must say its a pretty damn fun game. The claptraps make me laugh, as do the sly jokes thrown in the quest journal and boss descriptions. "9 toes, (He also has 3 balls)" :D

Currently a level 10 hunter speccing rogue, haven't played it online yet though. If anyone wants to give it a bash, add Teh Combined on XBL

I've got to level 32, and I'm still loving it. I have this thing called a masher, its basically a revolver shotgun. It a revolver with like 98x7 damage, and with like 96% accuracy. So its basically a super accurate shotgun that kills anyone in one hit, and with class mods and stuff I have like +80% pistol fire rate, so it shoots like 3 times a second. It's a beast :) I also have a shotgun that shoots rockets, and my bloodwing can attack 6 enemies at once and kills them all in one hit mostly, if they don't have a shield.

What do you mean 'super powered weapon'? There is a chance you can get weapons with very very good stats.

I played the game for about an hour today and now I wish I had a better computer <_< .

well, i beat it completely the second time with my level 50 soldier character. i got 1000/1000 the other day on it, so now all i can do is gun farm and get some other level 50s if i want in the other classes.

Finished the first playthrough today, to be honest I wasn't impressed.

 

 

Killed the final boss in less than a minute without taking any damage =/

 

Didn't do a single side mission after getting to New Haven and was never underlevelled =/

 

 

Will do the 2nd playthrough probably but I was expecting more out of this game.

[spoiler=dont' click if you haven't beaten it]the end was disappointing, by far. it's totally fun the second playthough though, and once you beat the final boss again enemies are level 49-52. you haven't lived till you've fought a level 51 superbad spiderant *element*. the fights are intense, superbad enemies are really superbad.

 

i'm still totally having fun with it though, even after 1000/1000 and beating it fully twice on one character. give it a chance, play with some friends online, or just run an open party and play with random people who join in, i've made friends with like 10 people like that, i've met some awesome people on borderlands.

Friend of mine at Tafe played it for 3 days with no sleep, really want it but am broke atm, although selling some of my never played 360 games looks like a good option.

I'm thinking of getting this game for the since my runescape membership is almost out. I love rpgs, and I like playing first-person-shooters, so this game looks fun. I'm going to get it on the pc since I don't have a console and the pc version is cheaper by ten dollars last time I checked. Does the pc version have the online co-op thing? I'm more of a solo game guy, but it'd be fun to play with my friends if they get this.

Sorry to bump this sorta old topic...but...

 

Has anyone gotten AA to work in the UT3 Game engine that Borderlands uses? There are no options for it in the menu's and I have heard that there is a way to do a work around. Also is there anyway to enable V-sync? I'm running an nvidia card btw.

Also, I have it for PC, so that's why I am asking about this.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

i would assume adding certain lines to a configuration file somewhere would do it, have you googled at all? i don't have it on a computer so i haven't looked, but that would be my guess.
