Always around 150 of them per assignment.Now I wonder how many times you can get a d drop here?Personally I know nobody who ever got a d chain drop from Dust Devils.Any people here who did get one? November 2, 200916 yr i got my first d chain after about 750 kills but i know it's pure luck because my buddy who does slayer all the time and has killed alot of dusties hasnt gotten one yet. i would probably say the same as them above from 1:15k to 1:16k
November 2, 200916 yr It happens. I hear the rate is 1/22,500. The truth is, nobody knows, but lots of people get to 99 slayer with only one, if any, d chain drop.

It's REALLY rare - so don't go there with your hopes up at all; because 99.9% of the time you're gonna come away dissapointed. November 2, 200916 yr In total i've probably killed 10-13k dusties and i've only ever gotten 1 d chain drop. That drop was probably around 10k dusties and 1 in 10k sounds about right according to other estimates.

My personal kills of them 75 - 85 ranged, no drop. 65 - 99 slayer no drop.It's purely luck, please don't camp for the chain, camp for the charms at least. November 3, 200916 yr I've probably killed at least 5k dust devil, no chain drop. Its probably one of the rarest drops in the game though. 1:20,000 at least I'd estimate since a d med off fire giants is 1: 16,000
November 3, 200916 yr I highly doubt d med off fire giants is 1-1600. 1-1500 sounds more reasonable. It is impossible to even form a close guess with such rarity. November 3, 200916 yr I've never gotten 1 and I've killed thousands of them. My friend who I trained slayer with got a d chain after a few hundred kills. It's all random. Keep that in mind.
