J4K3
20-24 :) I think playing Football Manager too much will turn me into a professional coach capable of taking Saints to the European Cup final. Well I hope it will. :x 15-19. saints will never get into europe, maybe 1 in 1000 uafa but never champs, but dreams are good to have, so keep dreaming, no offence intended. Cheap Clan Hosting, PM me. ldb88
15-19. Children are not affected by games. Children merely choose the games they like to play based on their own personal thoughts and opinions. A person who thinks violently by nature would choose violent games. Herr
19. After playing F.E.A.R. I am filled with the overwhelming desire to go into the streets, activate my new-found slowmo powers and shoot people with nailguns. I recently fell and cut my knee - but having played San Andreas I knew that the best course of action would be to go and find a skanky prostitute to restore my health. On a more serious note, no one is qualified to comment on whether games affect them.
ldb88
On a more serious note, no one is qualified to comment on whether games affect them. I agree to some degree. One person cannot tell if another individual is affected by games. However, I believe that an individual can tell if something (such as a game, for example) is affecting them. They would argue that experts who have studied the subject are qualified. However, I believe that experts are like all other power holders - they will do whatever it takes to stay in power - even if they have to lie to you (when telling the results of tests) to shape your opinion to match their own, making them always right (which, in turn, increases their power). By the way, why does the government set age restrictions on movies, games, and other products? It implies that they know an age at which people become aware of the effects of these influences on themselves. If they are so knowledgeable, why does the government continue to conduct tests to learn more about these things? Perhaps they don't gave a good grasp of the concept yet.... I know this is slightly off topic, but it does have some relevance to the question.

Wow! Is there anything they cant do? The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

Barihawk
19 If games affected kids, then our parents would be going around running from ghosts and munching on pills after playing Mrs. Pac-Man. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
