age poll for english class

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am conducting a quick survey here on the ages of the people on this site and runescape for an english paper I will be writing. I do not know how to create polls so if you could just reply with your answer it will be much appreciated. Note: This paper is on the effects of violent video games in children, so if you would like to respond feel free to voice your opinion.

And i have to say, the only way games affect me is if im playing a really scary one late at night and some1 sneaks up on me. Violent games do not affect me at all.

I gotta' say, the only game which had any effect on me at all was Resident Evil; most likely the first one.I usually played it in the dark wiht my Dad. I was, can't remember the age exactly, but when they snuck up on you and stuff; was a little scary.

I honestly can't see how Runescape can be classed as "Scary" though, it has no scare factor whatsoever. My sister is 8, started playing Runescape when she was 6 and a half and she hasn't encountered any scary sectors of Runescape.

to be honest, i think they have changed me. I think i would be pretty comfortable shooting somone if i really had to (like my life being in danger or the army) although ive seen a lot of movies with that kind of stuff in it.

Violent games don't bother me nor have they influenced me in any way.

I know the price. I pay it gladly.

I tell a lie, I don't know what it was, but the first time I played MGS3 through I kept on thinking The Sorrow was floating outside my window

I think playing Football Manager too much will turn me into a professional coach capable of taking Saints to the European Cup final. Well I hope it will. :x

Video games do not affect me in any way, except maybe releasing tension. Certain driving games do make me more aware of a car's handling though.

Games are games, movies are movies, books are books.

WWII was very violent and I don't think it was caused by a game.
