Nah barrier costs come out of your overal budget...only stuff you need to make(not including food) comes out of your blue room budget.

 

Ok then, here goes nothing. Since Dusty is effectively trapped down on G Deck I am gonna attack E Deck.

 

I am gonna to send my 18 drones up via the north east turbo lift and engage the turret there. Since my people are effectively rangeless they will suffer double damage from the 4 cannons for 1 round. So 6 per turret, that is 24 overall, so 6 of my drones are killed.

I then setup two crosshatched forcfields to prevent further turrent intervention, as well as destroying 1 turret, rendering it inoperable.

I then bring up 160 of my Homo Deus and assign them to take control of the rooms around the area. I will set up a further 11 forcefields to protect my units from turret fire. Since the area is basically defenceless because of Dusty's 100 drone attack on G Deck, my 160 + 12 drones(A combined total of 208) should be able to slaughter any resistance they encounter during the fight, which should only amount to 200, at the most.

 

I am calling on anyone and everyone to assist me in stopping the relentless march of the Sub-Human Alliance which has been formed! The rooms captured will be dealt out in the factions who are willing to stand against their tyranny!

PS: Rocco, if I keep hold of Dusy's rooms then I am happy to withdraw from F Deck. If you wish to speed this process I suggest that you provide aid in keeping Dusty under control.

Your people attack through the turbolift and encounter a barrier. They can't move past it, and are shot through it by the turrets. I suppose I have a lot of scrap metal to work with now, neh?

 

Also, defenseless hm. I hardly think 200 of my people who are 10x more effective then drones means the deck is "defenseless".

I'd prefer we sort this out in an orderly manner, rather than "This is what happened! See, here's the map now."

Retech you make a fair point, but you are not acting at all reasonable. It would be like me saying that my health sprays make it impossible for my units to die during combat....You rooms are impossible to capture during invasions...If you want to set some kind of realistic credit cost then fair enough....considering you are replicating hundreds of Tonnes of water.

I was under the impression that drones were [cabbage]tier than regular people, as a way of engaging in combat without risking your population.

Pouring out of the lift, your drones find themselves completely surrounded and are destroyed.

Your sheet is fine as far as I can see. Everyone can spend 5 points on attack and defence(so you can have 2/3 or 1/4 or whatever), but this is only for your race, all drones have a base of 3/3, modifers are then added if you produce the weapons and such.

My people are ready and armed. The sonic cannon fella is at the back of it all, even behind the coilgun fellas. The cannon feels heavy, but gives the holder a sense of power to be stronger than everyone else. The barriers have also been put back up.

30 Bayonet Soldiers from Deck D emerge from the northern Yellow dot of Ross' Deck C to take the top 3 rooms without resistance. Then they return back to Deck D after 40 soldiers (30 bayonet and 10 Coil) from Deck B arrive to reinforce those 3 rooms.

The soldiers are near the corner of the hallway so any ranged attack will be negated. The coil guns soldiers are further down the hallway.

Dusty's version of the battle is that your drones were all massacred by his turrets.

They wee set in cascade, so if you disabled one then the next one took over, and the end the next one again. Added to that the forcefields on E Deck will make it pretty hard for his troops to do much.

Fair enough you can overload barriers, but miraculously predicting my attack is not one of your techs....

Also it is entirely out of order(temporally). My attack preceded your attack and so I automatically go first.

 

My attack on F Deck goes off without a hitch. I appear, 6 drones die, I destroy your turret, I then errect my first 2 forcefields, I then go north west, then south, put my hand round the corner and activate another forcefield, I then move to the south west and activate that one, then go fully south and activate that one, then I go east and activate that one, then I circle back and go down the middle and activate the one to the west, then go though the middle and activate the eastern one. Then I go further east and activate those two, and then I go all the way east and activate that one. Then I bring up my Deus' and conquer the covered parts of the deck.

 

Meanwhile

 

Your drones attempt to break out. Since the turrents are rangers they would do damage to your units, probably killing 2 drones each so thats 12 dead drones there.

The lift is still dead so no boogying anywhere.
