Is anyone here doing anything special for the holiday season?

Personally, I will be traveling with my family to Chicago to spend a few days at my cousins' house. Afterwards, we'll be visiting the Atlantic Northeast states and spend a couple of days at a family's friends house in New Jersey.

Oh, and we'll probably have dinner with a few of our other family friends! On the whole, I think this holiday season is going to be a lot of fun for me!

As a Brit I believe in a traditional family christmas at home without going to somewhere like the Bahamas.

Especially with the recent snow, you come to realise Christmas just isn't christmas somewhere on a beach. :P

Not gonna do anything special this year, but I'm fine with it. Just hope we have a white Christmas like the last few years, we might not this year.

Stay in the warm.

This might be the fit white christmas we've had in a while. Us Brits get crappy weather all year round, and then during winter it rains instead of snowing. Pah.

No.

I was laughing because that's exactly how Australia is. Beaches, "shrimps on the barbie" and kangaroos.

I knew you were living in Sydney, but I thought I saw you mention that you were British in another thread.

Eh, guess I was wrong. Enjoy your kangaroos. (Please send me one. And a saddle.)
