Firecape V.S Skill Capes (t)

I used to wear Spottier cape most of the time, don't feel the need to show off unless I'm just hanging around with friends so I leave my Herb, RC, and Sum capes in my bank. Fire or SW cape when I'm slaying. Ardy 3 for farm runs and Corp. Oh and Quest cape for a day every time a new quest is released (What can I say? I like quests:)) Mostly nowadays unless I'm actually doing something that requires a cape I'm usually just not wearing anything.

Fire cape > Other capes like SW and ardougne > Skill cape.

 

In combat, anyways.

 

If I could only choose one cape it'd definately be fire cape.

Hmm I can't comment on fire capes as I've never had one. I tried many times but my last attempt was when my brother tripped over the computer cords, shutting the computer down, so I figured it was a sign I just wasn't meant to have a fire cape.

 

But anyways since 99 Slayer I've never worn any other cape. I can't imagine any other cape I'll wear in the future. Maybe summoning cape, but when I get it I'll decide then and there. Until then, Slayer Cape will always be the only cape I wear =)

This is the cape version of the Bandos vs Dragon debate.

 

Fire Cape: Hitting high and Dps with Melee / Defence

Applied to Armor: Bandos / Barrows

 

SW Cape/Ardy Cape: Prayer Bonus

Applied to Armor: Proselyte / Verac's

 

Skill Cape: Looks

Applied to Armor: Dragon

 

The only difference is that a Skill Cape it far better overall the Dragon is when you compare all the other things that can go in the equipment slot for the respective items.

It depends on what you're doing, if you're fighting a monster that you pray against I'd use a trimmed skill cape over the fire cape for the pray bonus, but if I'm fighting something that I can tank easily, then fire cape all the way.

 

For dangerous pvp, I like to use my skill capes since I cba to get another firecape if I die. In safe pvp I like to use my fire cape, I'll put my skill capes on just to show off if I'm in the mood.

 

Depends on my mood, but mostly fire cape.

ahahaha, no competition. skillcapes are like common as houseflies you see at alleys (not to mention most of them look horrid). even though I could practically say the same for firecapes, I would go for firecapes because its relatively better than trimmed skillcapes.

I used Fire Cape when i trained Slayer,it has better stats and wearing my RC Cape only attracted idiots that annoyed me.
