I set my heading by the sun and head to the Quarry, aftering popping to the local tavern to see if I can raise any assistance to help clear the stonemason's quarry. If I fail to get anyone I head back to Ikana and ask the people there to assist me in liberating this new resource(I don't mention Exile) if I still don't get anyone I try to find Igos and ask him.

Igos goes to Exile to meet up with Archarnis.

Umbra goes to the battle and does what Jen did with concentrating really hard on some uber attack

Jen attempts to freeze the monster into a giant block of ice with her ice staff, while firing the automatic ice shards. She focuses those ice shards to the point where the ice spear penetrated earlier. (Any exp for the spear?) She also tries to focus her magicks through the hole in the armor to overload the inside and burst the armor outwards.

Igos & Archarnis-

You meet up.

 

Umbra-

You launch a bolt of dark magic at the Final Guard, and knock one of it's guantlets off. The gauntlet crashes to the floor, and then turns to a pool of blood. You drop to the floor.

 

Jen-

Focusing on the pierced location will do no extra damage. You got no xp because you knocked yourself into a coma while casting it.

You attempt to freeze it, but it breaks free with ease. The armour expands and seperates, but quickly reforms when Jen stops.

Kemios sonar-scans the mountain, as well as using earth magic to test if there is anything useful there.

Do I get any assistance or? In anycase I say hi to Igos and ask him to accompany me to the cave, and then I head there(regardless of his answer...unless it happens to be 'I really need your help with something')

I try to recover

Jen attempts to fire a massive hail of ice shards at the beast (using her ice staff's power), then attempts to fire an ice spear of hot ice at the monster's legs. (I'm assuming it's still rather far away. If it's within an action of getting near, then I run into the banquet hall.

Umbra-

You did collapse, I just forgot to mention it. Sorry.

 

Kemios-

You can't really scan rock for gems with sonar, and the earth magic reveals trace amounts of crystal. You may have to dig for a while.

 

Archarnis-

I assumed you were going to go with Igos since he met up with you.

 

Jen-

You deal damage to the Final Guard. Hot ice explodes and scatters ice shards everywhere when it forms. It is almost within reach.

I try to recover

Kemios starts digging for the crystals.

Jen leaps into the banquet hall, making sure she is far enough in that the final guard changes directions. (Where is Umbra) She fires ice shards at the final guard automatically and fires an ice spear with her ice staff at one of its legs, attempting to impale and disable it.

I am behind it, and its impossible to disable it, being a spirit, it doesnt give into pain at all, unless its a certain pain

Well if I have people willing.... Otherwise give me an overview of the Quarry

Umbra-

You fail to recover, and end up fainting instead.

 

Kemios-

You don't find anything.

 

Jen-

You succeed in impaling it, but wonder how this would disable it.

 

Archarnis-

The quarry is a spiral pit (The classic quarry design). You note about 8 scorpions near the entrance, another ten or so around the sides, and a very large scorpion at the bottom, surrounded by 4 other scorpions. Nobody wants to assist you, as apparently everybody is afraid of scorpions.

Umbra tries to regain consciousness

Kemios continues digging with earth magic.

(Now that Jen is in the banquet hall, is it going for Umbra or me now?)(I was trying to make it fall over)

 

Jen attempts to create an impenetrable ice floor to slip the guard. She hopes that the floor can resist the spiked boots and knows that the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Doesnt stop until you damn die >.>, and i got impaled... should of messed you up quite bad... mentally and all

Umbra-

The Final Guard is now targeting you.

You fail to awaken.

(If you leave it's guard radius while it is targeting you and there is another person still in the guard radius, it will try to kill that person until he/she leaves.)

 

Kemios-

You find a piece of amethyst.

 

Jen-

Your create an icy floor, but it doesn't fall over. The combination of it's incredible strength and spiked boots shatters the ice again.

(Jen freeze its shoe studs, then it will be ice on ice and might fall over)

 

I try to create a small but intense Sun to sunburn the Scorpions so that they will sting themselves to death.

I also shield myself(using my clothes) to limit my exposure to the sun and ask Igos to do the same.

Kemios pockets the amethyst and continues digging with earth magic. (Am I getting any xp for this?)

Oh I see what that is.. im [bleep]ed.. again >.> dont doom me to 2 deaths cause my character remembers and will get pissed (jen)

 

I try to recover

Jen tries to freeze the monster's shoes. Then she tries to create a strong icy floor again. Afterwards she fires ice shards automatically with her ice staff and tries to create a hot ice magical spear to impale the creature's arm, hopefully making it drop its sword. (It's far away from you now, but it was close to me. I have plenty of chances to kill it (like 5))
