Jen-

You fail to draw the ice magic, and freeze yourself to the ground by mistake.

 

Umbra-

It isn't an infinity-plus-one sword. It wont instakill the guard, since it still has a heckton of magical energy fuelling it.

The platform is not created, so your action is disregarded.

 

The Final Guard targets Jen, since she was the first to enter the guard range. It lurches into life, but doesn't attack yet.

 

Kemios-

You create clouds, but it is so ridiculously easy to do that you can no xp.

Kemios attempts to creates a small thunderstorm using lightning, air, and water magic.

Ross, I never entered the guard's range. That was just his plan for me. I was sorta stuck after I impaled myself in the arm and froze myself to the ground.

Jen tries to unfreeze herself, then heals her arm. (How am I failing so badly? I'm freaking lvl 7 in ice magic. :P)

Jen-

You electrocute and almost drown yourself, knocking you unconcious.

 

Okay, guard is still inactive.

Jen tries to freeze the guard in a solid block of ice (I'm aware that I can't freeze it directly, but I can probaly put it in a giant block though, around the shield.

Umbra asks, Jen, can you carry me through the door that is through the courtyard down the stairs and through the corridor, its the only way we can survive, the guard is slow, so shouldnt be able to catch up, its the first strike im worried about

Jen attempts to carry Umbra to see if she can hold him okay. Then she dismisses the ice freezing the guard.

Well.

Caster is a large town, which is basically the capital of the county we are in.

They are heavily religious, but monothesistic power(one god) is very weak against most everything so doesn't really count as magic(God work's in mysterious ways). Anyway anyone trained in the darker magics(Necromancy for instance) cannot enter the Churches, but that is pretty much the limit to the power.

Anyway the Quisitor is an extremely good Bussiness person, since he can accuse someone of Witchcraft, arrest them and seize their homes, then sell their homes, making money. The whole witchfinder lot are basically immoral, but they keep people 'safe' so it is ignored.

There are three covens of Witches, Mab's lot (The ones Rocco ran into) who are called the Deanes, then there are the Melkins(Who are the strongest) who control a tower (Melkin Tower) near Potsdell, and finally the Smiths' who operate south of the river, they are always at war with each other, but occationally form alliances to kill people they don't like.

 

The people who really fight the Witches and the 'Dark' are called Spooks, who are few and far between(and are also hunted by the Quisitor, but less fiercely.) One such Spook lives in Potsdell and there is one near Exile. Spooks don't share their information though, but can be called on to help rid areas of ghosts/other dark magic. They are always the Seventh Son's of Seventh Son's which makes them immune to dark magic charms(but can be just as easily killed, they also have a sixth sense for dark magic attacks). The Spooks are feared though because they are thought to use dark magic(they don't but are thought to).

 

Witches can killed, but will come back(as a dead witch, which is decaying, only operates at night, but are just as dangerous) unless they are killed by burning or by something eating their hearts. They are much stronger than they appear and use magic...However their magicis usually refined to Blood, Bone and Familiar magic, so they will no be 'casting' spells. Witches are weak against silver and cannot cross running water.
