Wait the onyx's power is to siphon magic to me if i attack it, or just generally suck up all magic if your struck by the blade

Caster is kind of based on some books I read. So I can give you information about it if you like?

Okay, against monsters it just does more damage because it takes their power and syphons it out into the air, where it is useless.

 

Against players, that effect occurs.

Icu, you have the sword that can do severe damage to this guard. We should kill the guard, then we can go retrieve the gem. Jen prepares a powerful magical ray, hopefully to freeze the guard solid.

Oh then my plan wont work then, I'll tell you it then, as it wont take effect, but I liked it

 

I was going to get Jen to carrying me, but dropping me under the skeleton, then ask her before the skeleton should be able to react to raise me on a platform, I would then chuck the sword up so all magical energy would be sucked into the sword
