The man rubs a balm into the stubs and they feel very tingly.

After a few minutes you feel new sprouts of bone start to break the skin and after 10 minutes of agonizing pain you feel some spindly wings unfurl.

The man tells you that you will need to wait a day or so before they are strong enough to carry you again.

Ares thanks the man, before asking to be taken to the blacksmiths next.

Jen-

While Wubbles is in your backpack it eats the Ice Tiara and freezes its jaw closed, it thrashes about because of the pain and tears a hole in the bag.

Grim-

"He Stole our Children!"

"I didn't!"

"He spirited them away!"

"I never!"

"Give them back!"

Ares arrives at the blacksmith's.

Poor Wubbles!

 

Jen tries to hold him still long enough to use a small jet of warm water to slowly unfreeze Wubbles' jaws. Then she tells her everything will be okay, huggles her a bit, then tells her to walk behind her. Then she goes to the mine and does the mining thing that I said in the first post.

 

-Hopes the ice tiara thing imbues Wubbles with some magical properties-

I shout "Could everyone please calm down and talk one at a time!" I then ask the mob again why do you think he stole your children?

Jen-

Unfortunately the Ice Tiara's magical properties freeze the water as it descends, giving Wubbles a beard, which, if Wubbles wasn't in so much pain, might be funky.

Grim-

Sufficing to say they don't listen and continue to run towards you.

Jen rushes to the Ivory Tower and asks their expert help in making poor Wubbles better!

Kemios attempts to strengthen his wyvern's sound magic abilities.

I summon a wall of rock around each of them and shout "Now will you listen?"

Jen-

Fortunately you are able to speak to an expert in ingested magical artifacts, who manages to use special gloves to clear away the magical parts of the tiara, and takes these as payment.

Wubbles is now looking very upset

Also 10 minutes.

Kemios imbues some more energy into the Wyvern.

Ares says hello to the blacksmith, before asking for help with equipment troubles.

Grim-

You hapharzardly summon up a massive number of walls, but some people are still outside the walls and they look seriously angry.

I put those people in walls as well before shouting "Now will you listen?"

Ares-

Igos checks up on the stone walls and chapel, and how the construction went. He looks to see the reaction of the townspeople.

You miscast entirely and instead have the walls descend... taking the people trapped inside with them, so that the ground closes up with only their upper bodies showing...most of them cry out in pain, where as most of the people who are still alive/not dying being pelting you with stones, fortunately they are mostly crap aims and you are only moderately injured.

Igos-

There has been a delay at the mine, accompanied by the stone masons not doing any work because of it....The townspeople are very angry with you for not protecting them.

Ares realises he has no money, and no items to trade with, but asks if the blacksmith has anything in the way of platerobes anyway, so he can come back later, after doing something to earn some money.
