I continue walking away from the rode while looking around and having my illusionary copy walk up the road as if it were me.

After finishing the reading, Jen huggles Wubbles and asks Wubbles to sit in English. If Wubbles does that, then Jen huggles Wubbles again, feeds him the iron, then asks Wubbles to fire ice shards at a small target a few feet away.

Grim-

Nothing seems to happen on the road.

However, while you are wandering about you trip over something on the ground.

Both begin to carefully follow the tracks. Archi looks forwards, while Igos watches their back.

Ares slowly follows the rope along, checking round the corner cautiously. He also remembers that he can already see in the dark, but keeps the ligh orbs and torch lit regardless.

Wubbles sits.

After being fed Wubbles tries to cast some ice magic, but fails.

I switch my left eye back to normal vision and close my right eye. I then examine what is on the ground.

Archarnis gets whacked in the face by a low branch.

Igos gets whacked in the back of the head with the same low branch.

 

Suffice to say any element of surprise has been lost.

Jen passes on 0.3 ice magic levels (which I think is worth a lot at my level compared to earlier) to Wubbles, and encourages Wubbles to try again. Jen says "I know you can! I know you can!"

Ares-

Are you holding the cord or just following?

Grim-

You switch back to normal vision in one eye and see what seems to be a shirt and trousers(pants)

Walking close to the wall and keeping his hand on the rope, so he is able to grab onto it should the floor collapse or something.

Jen-

The Ritual transference doesn't seem to work...its seems Wubbles either has nothing Ice Magical about him...or there is something wrong with you.

I continue on looking around alternatively in thermal and then in normal vision.

Oh right, anti magic thing. Did I lose the 0.3 ice magic or did it just fail to transfer, so I kept it?

 

 

Jen encourages Wubbles to try again. "You can do it Wubbles!"

Ares-

Its only a fairly thin cord...

 

As you round the corner you find another 'corridor' with Iron hooks embedded every few tens of meters.

Grim-

With both eyes open you notice what appears to be a body inside the shirt and trousers, hidden from view by the arm of the shirt and the undergrowth. You also start to feel a headache coming on.

Jen-

Just failed.

 

Wubbles tries again, but instead sprays out a wash of lava

Igos and Archarnis contine down the tracks. Igos uses his necro to scan for any life-signs.

Ares catiously moves farther into the cave. He makes sure not to touch any more of the wires, expecting them to be something used to detect trespassers.

I attempt to heal myself and grab the body while running away. (in the direction that I should be going).

Igos-

You fail to detect anything until you are almost on top of the village itself...which neither of you noticed.

:blink:

 

Jen makes sure none of the lava is stuck on Wubbles, before hugging him.

 

"Good job!" she yells.

 

Jen asks Wubbles to try firing lava at the same target again.

 

(Gotta go to sleep now. Cya on the session on Wednesday. Lava spewing golem, awesome! :D)

Ares-

As you progress down the tunnel you feel the world suddenly invert and powerful hands grab your feet and hoist you into the air. It is dark behind you so you aren't sure what you are looking at.

"Me am Thraduth from the Samorsmasher clan. And you am?"

Grim-

They body seems to be tangled up in the undergrowth.
