Unfortunately you are knocked out by a flying stone before you can do anything much to help them.

Jen returns to her tower with Wubbles, then sits down and huggles her. She apoligizes, and tries to act apoligetic, before playing with Wubbles.

Ares thanks the blacksmith, and tells him he will come back later with either 500 gold, or an item valuable enough to trade for them. He then sets off looking around town for any posters or notes with bounties and tasks.

Igos uses his pyrokinesis to smelt some iron into a rotateable base for the mirrors and convex lens. Archarnis crafts a handle for the lens.

Jen-

Wubbles is still upset, but gets over it when you start playing a game, within a few moments she(assuming) is laughing.

[Grim_]

Sigh I attempt to awaken.

[Retech]

After finishing the game, Jen huggles Wubbles and plays peek-a-boo for a bit. Then she picks Wubbles up and carries her over to the mine area. Jen tells her to be a good Wubbly Dubbly and to stay still, while Jen looks for something for Wubbles to eat. Jen keeps an eye on Wubbles, incase she starts wandering away. If Wubbles starts wandering, then Jen, who is right next to her, picks her up and moves her back where she was before and continues mining.

Ares-

You go to the town noticeboard and quickly find a task that involves exploring a cavernous network in the hopes of finding an explorer who had ventured down earlier.

Igos-

The delay is that a band of Goblins have set up camp not far from there and claimed the mine as their own.

Grim-

You fail to awaken and are killed.

Lose 2.2 Skill Points.

Igos asks if they were hostile, and if anyone knows how many there were.

Archarnis continues crafting the handles, and Igos continues to make the rotateable base.

Jen-

Wubbles is a handful and seems to be off the moment your back is turned or you bend down to find something. Though sheer reflex alone you keep an eye on her and manage to get some Tin and Iron ore.

Ares goes to the petitioner and says that he will try to find the person, before setting out to the cave network.

[Grim_]

take it out of :Domination,Smithing,Masonry,Carpentry,Swordsmanry,Butchery,Illusion and Fletching/Woodsmanry. I get back to the trail of the altar of life.

Igos and Archarnis make the bars and rotating stand.

 

The Stone Masons say they were hanging around, at least a dozen of them, but they didn't want to get too close.

Jen sits Wubbles on her lap, and feeds her the tin ore. She stows the iron ore in her bag for later. Then she walks to Grim's tower, and calls to him inside.

 

"May I please have 100 coins so I can buy a rope?"

[Grim_]

I give 100 coins to jen.

Fortunately the caves are not far away, and you are given a torch, along with a tinderbox by the woman who put up the notice.

The Cave looks very cave like from the outside

After the events of the previous post, Jen wanders to New Exile and goes into the "general store." She asks to buy two ropes.

Grim-

Finding yourself back a long distance, you set off again. This time encountering a traveling caravan Gypsy, who asks if you want your fortunes read.

Jen-

The store only has one rope, and will cost 7 Gold Pieces.

[Grim_]
