Clouds of darkness gather in the Eastern skies, as ferocious waves begin to pound the coast, flooding the ruins of Caster. A legion of Liches summon their great hordes of man and beast to descend upon the area, to leave a mark on the world that will not be quickly forgotten. The mages of the Ivory tower emerge from their hiding places and regroup, hoping to defeat the undead hordes that they have faced time and time again for centuries. A group of the secret cult of Archineers has also resurfaced, preparing to send their allomantic creations across the region. With the removal of the White Elm Staff from the underworld, the seal placed long ago by the forces of good has once again broken and demons once again awlk the Earth.

In these grave times, only the bravest will stand up to the threat and save the world from total destruction. Will you be one of them?

In order to start this campaign, you must speak with the Ivory mages, who have recently created a camp outside the city of Ikana, to defend it from the new host of threats affecting the region.

Difficulty: Very Hard

Yep.

I just wanted to get everyone briefed with what has happened in the region before we began.

(Tomorrow. I want a good 4 or 6 people before I start)

So, is this going to be making D'neering more thrilling? Make travel a bit more interesting and dangerous? I like it.

BTW: Nice job causing the apocalypse, Grim.

I haven't decided that it was going to be cameo or not. If it isn't, then expect lots of things to be destroyed by the time you finish saving the world. Oh btw, lots of you caused the apocalypse.

Grim removed the staff, thus allowing demons to break out from the underworld.

Everyone failed to get to the Lich's stronghold in time, leading to a power struggle that ultimately lead to a crazy guy taking charge with the task of world domination.

Everyone failed to kill the Archineer fast enough to save Caster, which would've helped a lot in the struggle.

Everyone killed Archineer in the end, but not in time, leading to the resurgence of vengeful cultish Archineer people as well.

So really, you're all to blame. And expect more trolls.

But you can't really blame me... I knew nothing about any of those storylines except for the golem! I didn't even invite Grim to the underworld.

There are actually a few other things from actions people have done in the Dungeoneering world...that manifest themselves in this campaign. See if you can pick them out! :D

Well, all I know about are the Liches, a bit about the Google and Demigod, the Golem, the other, smaller, Einherjarum Golem, Grim's time in that ice place, ICU's enslavement and recent capture, the Life Altar, the Infernal Forge, and... Well, that's about it.

..... [bleep]

What will there be? An army of mummies?

Not necessarily. I find that puzzles and enviromental hazards are much more challenging than simple mummies. :P

Weapon: Sonic staff with 2 sonic-imbued gems and a bayonet (the gems and bayonet are a part of the staff)

Armor: Holy mage-resistant lightweight iron platemail (I am now glad I piled all of my resources into that thing.)

Familiar: Noisy skeletal wyvern

Rope

Knife

The Complete Guide to Mushrooms

Bring it on.

Oh, and Rocco, if you kill me, I will hunt you to extinction.

For once I'm the one owning the safest place to reside.

I sugguest we tell the Ikanans that they should take residence in Atlantis until the apocalypse is over.

Before that I think I will run a little "errand" telling two guys I've met about the hazard waiting around the corner. (Lightning knight and visit the demi-god (note, not neccesarely releasing it).)

The Lightning knight will affect the challange too, right?

If you want to tell them, then it's likely that you'll have to battle through swarms of apocalypse monsters with a group. That's if the others are willing to go with you, which they probaly won't.

Well the Demi-god could always make the last miniboss before the real one. :D
