Håkon attempts to summon a powerful bolt of lightning into the plant while strangling it with geomancy. He then quickly releases the quartz ticks to drain whatever life is left in it.

I check to see if I still have all my equipment. If not, I activate the homing beacons to draw them towards me and myself towards them. If I do have all my stuff, I call out:

"Humph. I didn't appreciate that. Now, would you like to hear what I have to say, or have me simply escape?

Kemios drags his life crystal back to his castle, where he stows it away in his underground stowing area. He then proceeds to shoot down as many birds as he can find with sound bolts, and collects the carcasses.

You quickly realize the plant is dead, and that your killing spells would have no effect. Your root wringing spell seems to have released its life energy to the soil.

-Grim

After wandering for hours in the forest in pursuit of the illusion, you reach a large clearing. It seems to have many holes in the ground, mostly freshly dug.

-Earth

(You mean Ogre? I might have said the wrong thing)

The troll falls over from the force of your necro attack, probaly seriously wounded. The other ogres have been alerted though, and you can hear their fearsome warcries in the distance.

You seem to have everything with you, except the steel orbs that are still embedded in the mine ceiling. For some strange reason, you feel like the witches have already found out everything you know.

-Kemios

You safely stow the crystal in your stowing area. Looking up at the sky, you fire a bold of sound at a flock of birds, knocking down five pidgeons and the eagle that was chasing them.

The only difference between a disagreement between friends, an argument between strangers, and a feud between enemies is the ability to reconcile.

Kemios collects the carcasses, plucks them, stores the bird meat in his ice room, and stows the feathers/bones underground. He then proceeds to shoot down some more birds.

Ugh, this storyline stinks. I try to light the trees on fire, collapse everything inside the mountains, and generally wreak random havoc.

Håkon attempts to fasten small quartz crystals on the back of the ticks to act as storage vessels then releases them to collect the energy in the soil.

Grim continues following the illusion after doing a quick scan with geomancy in the surrounding area.

LNYvk.png

-Kemios

You see a massive flock of strange mutated crows flying eastward. Their talons seem to glisten with poison. You begin to have second thoughts about shooting them down.

-Nex

Well you could always head with someone else. You rolled low enough that you were going to die, but since there wasn't much warning, I decided that killing you was not fair.

-Hakon

The quartz ticks disappear into the soil. (They'll be back later, so you can head off somewhere else and come back to get them)

-Grim

Your geomancy scan reveals a massive heat source beneath the ground, though you cannot detect what it is. Your magic senses tell you that the white elm staff is straight ahead.

Grim follows the white elm staff checking for traps as he goes. He charges a geomancy and fire spell as well.

Okay, I think I've figured out the problem. All the players are spread out and therefore I have to think of an individual storyline for everyone. This is obviously problematic, since it's hard to create a good storyline in half a minute.

So, I am stopping this session for now. I will go and write up in advance, a really long and fun campaign. Then everyone (keeping their skills and items, but perhaps only be limited to bringing one or two items with them on the campaign) will be teleported to a room, so we can go back to its humble beginnings.

I'll Pm Ross about it, and see how it works out.

Oh, don't worry. You'll be teleported to your current location when the campaign is finished. Consider it a cameo. :P

I leave the forest, go back to the village, apologize to the villagers that the witches are beyond my power and nearly killed me, and that I will be back later with Grim The Almost-But-Not-Quite Mad, Kemios The Feathered, Rocco The Opportunistic, Hakon The Less-Powerful-Than-He-Thinks-He-Is, Poseidon The Ignorant-And-Stupid, Earthsage The Worse-Than-Hakon-But-Not-As-Bad-As-Poseidon, Meguy The Titleless, and Icu The Shadowed And/Or Horribly Unlucky to cleanse the area of the witches.

I then fly to Jen's mountain to visit the Transmog master.

Do you mind giving us a bit of time to wrap immediate things up (like for me get the staff back and kill the liches/ do a ritual to allow me to access the staffs power)

The Liches were actually supposed to be a long term thing. It was highly unlikely you would get the staff back in the next session or two. Considering the staff is much more powerful than anything anyone has yet seen, it has to be an epic quest. :P

I have the two really good staves, but I only got them because I killed Earth XD

How about we start this campaign at 6:00 EST?

I still have to write it up, and ask for some interesting additions from Ross. I'll try to have the first part of it done soon, so that we can start.

Today "soon," or eventually "soon?"

I still like the idea, though. I think I'll take a bit of trollskin and dogspine. Personally, I think no one should be able to bring more than one piece of their armour, and maybe no epic weapons either. It should be small, simple stuff so there's an even playing field.

Tomorrow soon, if I'm fortunate enough to have the time to finish.

Just as a note to everyone, the campaign will be in segments. Each segment probaly has a different boss fight, though it's probaly not obvious it's a boss fight until its too late. The harder boss fights will have time for you to prepare, to make your strategy.

Please make a storyline that not only includes challanges based on each player's skills, but also it's/our personalities, if you manage that then I at least will considder you epic for a while. And please don't make it so that one (Earth), two (Rocco) or three (Grim) can ruin the other's chances by doing something stupid or destructive.

Define destructive.... Also nex you are coming along and unless I have enough time to learn allomancy (doubtful) I am going to lend you some silver as an anti undead mechanism.

Give me three examples when I screwed up a team with my antics...
