wont work. the nade would probably cause an explosion, but its much more volotile than if it was just magic. and theres a chance that the elemental wot like being cooped u, and break out when your holding the nade.

Hmmm, if I got some sand and some soil I could make clouded Glass, the inert glass wouldn't react with magic so I could store the energy inside and then lob the glass, breaking the glass, exploding the magic... This gives me an idea.

Actually I had an elemental bound into one of my staffs for most of the game :unsure: so I think the summoning is kind of binding. The elemental grenades if the elementals are bound properly are completely inert until you rip the elementals essence though...

thats the point. what if there is someone else who can rip said essence apart? and you had 20 nades on you mm? also.. inert?

Not reactive. If you put acid on glass nothing should happen, if you put acid on rock it will melt.

yes, but im talking about acid magic. when broken, the rock will throw out the item in question. thus... if you had a fire bomb, the fire wouldnt melt the rock, but it would explode with fire when broken.

That would depend upon if you needed to be the summoner of said spirit to rend it's essence or not earth. The only other explosive I can really think of is hot ice though... (which would require a decent ice or fire magic level)

EDIT: Earth the fire would die from lack of oxygen... Also most decent acids would eat away the rock.

I think I might go into bussiness selling Glass Spheres filled with Solar Magic. Sunplosion.

exactly. if you ran into a powerful whatever mage, he would be able to disrup your power, control your elementals, and blow em up. when they are in your hands/ on yuor torso/ hanging somewhere.

It would depend upon if the only the summoner gets that kind of control or not. Anyways I was thinking of a type of anti mage weapon utilizing ground up magedeath crystals and glass spheres that are corked.

Here's basically the jist of it. It's easier and safer to summon an elemental (it starts off neutral or friendly) and ask it to do stuff, rather than force it to do stuff. Say you stuff elementals into something or force it to do something. That is harder to do, but gives off more power, since the elemental is actually using its reserve and essence, rather than just taking little bits.
