Yay. How much do they mitosis by?

Agrius stays stationary and fills the water with poison to try to find food. They send 30 scouts to find something interesting, leaving a trail of poison from the original cloud as they go.

A large school of plankton swim by, with about 100 dying from the poison. The other 50 have small jaws like you, preparing to attack. The scouts find a giant orange mountain that moves every once in a while.

Steve has his microbes eat more and then attempt mitosis again (this should be rather useful actually).

Ok then they begin to mitoes.

Agrius main force creates a ton of poison to try to kill them off, while also trying to bite them. The Agrius will also attempt to collect any corpses.

 

The scout force inspects the orange mountain, sending 2 to try to eat a part of it.

Finally, the microbes succeed in getting fat and mitosizing. Steve now leads 200 fat microbes.

Strangely, your microbes split into living microbes and dead microbes. There are 100 living microbes, without their massive fat reserves capable of Mitosis.

Agrius and his force fail to poison the rest of the 50, but defeat the enemy force decisively at the loss of 30 microbes.

Microb Bob practices communication.

Agrius devour the other microbes, storing any excess for later, and then attempt to undergo mitosis.

 

The scout force sends 5 microbes to try to eat a bit of the orange mountain.

Microb Bob begins to practice communication, but the other microbes are not interested because there is nothing to communicate about. They feel the urge to reproduce.

 

(Agrius, can you tell me how many Microbes you have? It's 170, correct? I forgot to note it. :))

Where is not anything stopping them...they just have to split down the middle...

The Agrius successfully mitosizes. It seems they've grown more evolved.

The orange mountain doesn't move, though you can clearly see large gaping claws. (I'll check your points and see if you have enough)

Agrius stays away from the orange mountain. The scout force returns to the main group, and they drift around until they find something of interest.

Agrius finds a large unhatched egg lying in the middle of its nest. Its mother is nowhere to be found.

Microb Bob sets the microbs on the little beasts, knowing they are poisonous, in the hope that survial of the fittest will allow a more resistant band to form.

Agrius coats the nest with a thick layer of poison, before attempting to break into the egg and devour the inside with the probiscis.

Igos leads the microbes around, scavenging for food.

(Paul, the beginning is in the sea. If you can think of a style of climate in the sea that isn't on my list, then we could use that. The rest is good though)

 

Microb Bob

 

Many of your microbes die, leaving the hardiest twenty left standing. Their resistance shoots through the roof.
