I've been trying to offer an eloquent way of saying "this never happened" to everyone. This isn't really based on specifics. This is to get the game focused back on war, diplomacy, political alliances, etc which didn't really require an advanced degree in economics and a team of economic advisors to navigate through.

Abbysinia annexes Yeman, however the illegal government of Yeman does not remove itself and thus Abbysinia has invaded.

The Abbysnians meet one hundred thousand Japanese troops in Yemen, because Yemen is part of Japan. A further fifty-thousand soldiers are based near the Yemenese coast, because it was one of the stop-points of the interventionist fleet (others being South Korea and Indonesia). Those soldiers rush to the defence, supported by the two supercarriers based off the shore and Japanese defences as part of project Cocoon, which involve Pillboxes and that other jazz, and anti-biological/chemical weapon defences.

 

One hundred brand new Type 10 tanks, of the new fourth generation are also part of the defences.

I have a feeling that you didn't know that Yemen was part of Japan, so you can pull out your troops and say it never happened if you'd like. I'll fight a war in defence if I have to though.

So I ask, can we please stop this game from becoming some economic war? I honestly was more entertained at the annex-fest, because people were witty and doing funny [cabbage] to each other. I want to be nuking Russia, not arguing about who is the leader in the new world market.

The USD is still the global reserve note as before.

 

The US still holds debt to Japan and China, among other creditors.

 

There is no embargo against the Fed.

 

The IMF still exists and is still based in the USA.

Firstly, it needs to be supervised in a combat situation, most likely a fake one, that could take a year of supervision, and then to make 100's or 1000's, takes years, lots of years. Even if you use most of your budget

No worries Sere. As long as you make the minimum payments and don't invade Japan, then I'm fine holding your debt for you. After all, the US was one of the causes of the economic miracle which led to the economically powerful Japan of today.

Another two flotilla are dispatched to Yemen. They will arrive in a few days (in game time, since they were already combat ready in the beginning. Also noting my definition of flotilla is not dictionary definition flotilla. My navy can't be that big. :P)

Also, shouldn't Russia's budget increased not decreased, were not gong over yearly profit, and I leave some money away.

Archi, Abbysnia is annexing far too fast according to the rules.

Abbsinian troops are supported by Yeman rebels who feel oppressed by the massive Japanese force stationed in their country. (Seriously...Allies do not station 150 thousand troops in their other allies countries...)

Anyway, Abbysina makes steady progress and lands by nightfall, setting up a beach-head.

I'm pretty sure that Abbysnia is invading Japan... <_< (Errrr, the US had 200,000 troops or so in Japan before the game started.)

The Abbysnian troops are beset by Japanese ships from sea, and the massive defences on land. They should probaly be slaughtered. (Think D-Day, but the ships behind you are firing at you, not with you)

Someone might want to edit the information from the front page to include USD as the reserve notes instead of the Leu.

 

Also, I added in the total gold reserves from every member of the Federation, so it's somewhere around 9200 tonnes instead of 8100 tonnes. I might need to go over it again for accuracy since I subtracted the IMF holdings (3033 tonnes, I think).
