It's like saying you have 5 apples, the EU has 2 apples, and your people have 5 apples.

 

Your people trade their 5 apples for EU 2 apples, normally. However in this case, you are trading your 5 apples for EU 2 apples. That makes it so that your people still have their apples. So really the trade deficit hurts your own people, and you've hurt your government. Trade Deficit just means that your people as a whole as losing money. The government doesn't necessarily gain from a trade deficit being eliminated.

Romania has dropped out of the EU, but hasn't joined EFTA. It's still under consideration.

 

The UK government has told the immigrants to go home. The English are tired of becoming a minority in their own land.

 

The UK is finally on its path to nationalism, just like the US.

It only tells you that 75% of the population is white (mostly European).

 

That doesn't break it down and tell you what percentage of that 75% is German, Irish, English, Scottish, Italian, etc.

 

(I doubt I can find any more in-depth demographic information. I'm willing to bet the four most dominant nationalities are English, Scottish, German, and Irish, though.)

Hadn't thought of it like that but a full embargo will really screw you over (there are other places do get industry... for instance in two years now germany. Also medical supplies and other commodities are being bought from other places)

Except that Switzerland started the fight by trying to bring down the EU economy. :) I think if it was Germany that started, then it would be logical, but since you began the fight, I'm pretty sure the people wouldn't care.

Grim, in two years it won't matter because the EU monopoly will be smashed. Politians can't refuse lower taxes and lower prices, not if they want to get re-elected...Speaking of which.... The UK has its General Election and the British National Party is elected on the promise of taking Britain out of Europe and developing stronger ties with America.

Central Arkansas. I will concede that it has a high Celt population, though. I've seen a lot of Germans in the Mid-West and where I live.

Retech...think about it...The man on the street doesn't know all this is going on...They simply see 'Low Taxes, Low Prices and Germany says NO!'

Germany moves to create a large government no questions asked banking capitol where there are exorbiant intrest rates (we are talking 10-12%) and very low interest rates on loans this will be funded as I said by the german government.(everything I do I simply suggest to the E.U. and it is likely that they would agree as you essentially started economic war with them)

I stated that they were moving towards political integration, which I assumed meant it started the process (since basically I assumed annexation was the last step, since talks had to be conducted first). So basically they are a day/half - year ahead of Malaysia in integration. I began political integration on the first day.
