Basically I just have 3.5 (Greenland being 0.5) countries, not five.

For the love of.... Does anyone, apart from Retech, think that Japan can annex Singapore based on the evidence hitherto provided.

Ok guys, due to RL issues and me sleeping at Toms today (Ross knows this guy) I will be on only till like 11, 11:30 Max.

 

Russia offers an alliance with all countries bordering.

 

We offer countries bordering Russia, I have already said which ones (Latvia, Estonia, Kazakstan, Abaijistan (Probs spelt that wrong) Into a vassal state pact, which should sound rather appetising to them, as Russia is a large powerful country, with much influence in the current world and a large army.

 

We try push against Romania in the hold for the countries, and I feel these countries should be swaying to the Russian rule as. One, Russia is a large and very influential country, heck they might even join out of fear of us. Two, They are literally on our border, I think any leader knows, if a large country bordering you wants to offer you under its wing, you should take it. Three, we are offering a Vassal state pact, its like they become our servants in a way, but in a loose sense of the term, really they pay a bit to Russia out of their economy, and we supply them with protection (Political and military), technology and just a unification.

 

I feel they should also be swayed as a lot of countries around the world have begun to unify, and as Russia being the most influential around them would be the best option for unifictation. I would say this would take a few years, mayve 2 or 3?

 

I'm not saying all countries I offer will be like omfg lets join, but they would give it a serious thought and probably feel like we offer more than what Romania can offer them.

 

 

Also Russia asks for a diplomacy with Scandinavia (Mather).

Also Russia begins research into armor that provides good thermal warmth while offering nice protection. It is lined with kevlar but under the armor is a small thermal piece of clothing that has scanners on the body, when the body gets to cold the cloth will heat up with a little heat generator (Its not that big, it will require power though, but we will get recharges from stations located around outposts)

Well being a protecterate means that you're basically your own country, but your foreign policy is being supervised by a larger nation. Meanwhile, being annexed is basically just being grabbed.

Retech...I know what the difference but in Hegemony there isn't a difference...except you can use the puppet to declare wars and then claim you are defending it.

And you keep bring up real-world issues? So there would be a difference in Hegemony if you're bringing up real life points. I'm bringing up real life points entirely, so my statements do not contradict each other (except when I keep wavering between Protectorate, and join, but that's really just because I write too many posts)

I think I should get Singapore just because.

The Japanese occupation of Singapore during World War II wasn't that great for the Singaporeans, so I don't know if they'd willingly have such a deal with Japan.

And Equatorial Guinea is just going to go ahead and invade Sao Tome and Principe. Their army is so small that it's unknown how big it actually is.

It's true that Japanese occupation of Singapore during WW2 wasn't great for Singapore, but there are several reasons that it's negated:

 

1. Japan isn't occupying Singapore

2. Japan is not exactly WW2 like anymore.

3. Singapore has much more of a recent dispute with Malaysia.

4. Singapore is heavily reliant on trade with Japan and other countries in South-East Asia.

My vote is that unless Singapore legitimately goes to Japan, then all these attempts are hypocrisy and that they should remain independant. However, if you go for what I truly believe, then you should look at the leaders of the countries to see if they're pro-Soviet or not, and whether the electorate agrees with them (if the leader is popular or unpopular)

Icuownage...I would guess Romania(Memories of the USSR)...though, in truth, even that seems unlikely. I have a fair few bulgarian friends and they seem fairly opposed to joining with the Serbs....So maybe Dusty should steer clear of the serbs...

The countries you listen aren't anywhere near me. Half are bordering the North Sea by Scandinavia, and the others are in Siberia/Eurasia, so they'd go with you. The ones I'm talking about border on the Black Sea.
