Oh, and my chapter in AP European History (equivalent of A-levels in England) deals with the postwar period between WWI and WWII. It has some pretty interesting and shocking things to read about.

It's not a JAPANESE super state. It's an ASIAN PACIFIC constitutional confederation.

Now Thailand has much more of an objection than Malaysia, but the part near Indonesia has already been peacefully annexed by Japan. The nation (part near Indonesia) has joined Indonesia as a special state.

You are not going to get Thailand peacefully rocco and really most of those countries... I would advise starting with Bangladesh (did you do some research? ) sweeping up pakistan and then rushing into to take over burma. However by that time it would take a very large amount of man-power to breach thailands defenses.

And Rocco, you don't understand. Those territories have NOT been annexed. They are simply to show that they are currently in the process of political ties. Also, Thailand would probaly go with the United States if they did go with anyone. They've been allies since the end of World war two.

China begins talks with Cambodia to become part of China rather than Inda. Since China and Cambodia have a long history, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. China also begins talks with Mongolia and a peaceful annexation.

On a note to paul you would have a rather large problem convincing the current thai puppet government to become part of any other country (that goes to you rocco they wouldn't suddenly sign a treaty with you that sort of thing takes time... I would say at least five years)

I am conducting economic warfare for Switzerland's benefit...which has nothing to gain from a united Europe and everything to lose. In truth I only need a couple of years(10 or so, so 20 days if we are still on that system) to prepare my master plan so Switzerland's gold reserves should last long enough to either destroy the EU or to delay it long enough for my master plan to come into effect and render the threat posed by the EU negligable. The Gold Reserves, though depleted somewhat, can be rebuilt fairly easily when the master plan succeeds.

The upside for people is that the EU has recieved a rather large lump of cash which it could spend...though since only Germany is currently the only member of the EU(playing) they can't. Oh the Irony.

Breaking news (I'm going with Archi's Map btw, so if it seems wierd, that's because you're not using Archi's map. :thumbsup:)

 

Indonesian armed forces have invaded the part of Malaysia in a surprise blitzkrieg attack, using their massive 300,000 soldier army, against Malaysia's 100,000 army force, which shouldn't even all be at the battle. (So let's assume like 80,000). (there are more, but that's just there in the fight). The area surrounding the location of the battle is blocked by the Indonesian navy, parts of the Japanese navy, and parts of the South Korean navy. Meanwhile, submarines prowl the waters incase of enemy attack. The battle should be over before any reinforcements arrive. Indonesia has fully commited itself to the fight, and reserves are being brought up. If necessary, conscription will begin, with 52 million eligible soldiers ready for combat (in their home regions, they're not licensed to hop to another country).

 

Construction continues on bunkers and artillery, with anti-aircraft defences. Japan has already licensed its airforce to circle over the area, to protect it from...any unwanted accidents. Indonesia has placed artillery on their islands to fire against unwelcome visitors. The singaporean navy is being held in reserve, should any foreign powers begin attacking.

 

Indonesia is attacking because I claimed that part of Malaysia is theirs already. Also, Singapore needs that part of Malaysia for its water supply. (They must have tasty water)

Retech just remember that if you don't declare war you are commiting crimes against humanity. Further there should be economic consequences, such as trade embargos. Also there would be gurrila resistance and the like...so using an entire army, an army which may have reservations about attacking a fellow nation...as may your people in Japan.

Further mobilisating 52 million people would irrevocably cause stavation and the end to the Japanese way of life. Not to mention causing wide spread unrest by ripping 52 million people out of their jobs. Also giving them all guns and armour would be difficult. Even with the military-industry complex America had trouble supplying its troops in Iraq with body armour.

 

I am not trying to moderate, but your actions are extremely unrealistic and I believe that they should be stopped before they wreck the game. (Sorry for the somber tone, have just being recounting the suffering of mankind and and feeling rather dejected.)
