They were invested in by the Japanese government. They are controlled by the same group of people, but they're still separate companies. Basically they are the only automaker to make moss-fuel dependant engines, which is good because they control 100% of the Japanese market.

Icu, the cars will work on both gasoline and moss fuels, but moss fuels are cheaper and more efficient on these cars. Anyways, you'll have to put some infrastructure investment in to Russia to put moss fuels in place of gasoline fuels in Russia. Otherwise, it'll have the same problem as Hydrogen fuel cells, not enough places to refuel.
