Dusty, I have followed the five day rule. That's why I didn't finish until now. The peacefully invading thing was if we implemented the rule that everyone could annex 3 countries, so I would've just sent troops into Papau New Guinea and taken over. :)

From what I can recall, Australia started talks with Indonesia, and Japan decided to come in with troops and build artillery sites and then proceeded to declare Indonesia part of Japan thus bypassing the 5 day rule all together. That is what made Ross get all in a fit and quit.

Okay, so here's the real timeline.

-Japan starts having talks with Indonesia

-Japan considers "peacefully invading Papau New Guinea".

-Australia starts talks with Indonesia, not knowing Japan started.

-Japan gets mad about it

-Australia sends troops, thinking that Japan sent troops. Miscommuncation, Japan never sent troops

-Indonesian fleet attempts to stop Australia's attack

-Australia blows up

Dusty: An NPC country needs someone to state events that are tied in with it. Otherwise, there are no events happening around the globe, and the game becomes dull.

 

Furthermore, this game does need a moderator who is in control of these events (without rolling or any crap like that) who actually has a fair bit of knowledge about global events and history, with group moderation to supplement him. Otherwise, the massive land grabs will continue, and we will have no worldwide events to react to.

 

If anyone disagrees with the actions that I, as a moderator, make, feel free to vote on the subject.

Good. Coates incorporates Coates. He is given 20 Tonnes of Gold start up Capital by Switzerland. Coates focuses on making oil-free products and attracts alot of the green market.

The Russian spies (I don't know they're spies, but just saying) require a recommendation from their home country's embassy and a visa. The Japanese clerk hands them a form for both long term and short term stays and asks them to fill one out, along with their signatures and recommendations from their home country.
