The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)

S-Net(Though notably not the Australian part) is highly critical of Australia's attempt to sell the public a lame horse and call it a stallion.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Oh btw, the training centre in Russia to help train soldiers in simulated climates throughout the world is done

Thermal plate is done :D

We begin to mass produce them for soldiers, should take a year and a half

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

But it should pacify the general public and let it slip into obscurity, since S-net still isn't big enough to influence too much, as well as only a portion of the S-Net users regarding GM as bad, and the other half or so supports it. A few more years and it may have been a big problem, but for now, it should be okay. Besides, nothing else I could do short of curing the diseases is going to persuade the S-Net users. Their outcry is basically ignored, and Australia continues to promote Genetic Modding to the general public.

S-Net is in the process of taking over the market....Free Wireless Internet Access to everyone is a bit hard to ignore when nearly everyone has a wireless modem.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Indeed, but the entire S-Net userbase isn't a single unified mind. There will be seperate groups, some that support GM, and some which are against it. Australia begins to promote Genetic Modding to the S-Net userbase as well, with multiple websites being set up and the process being explained.

And thus, since there are some that support it and some that don't (Similiar to pretty much every major project), the project continues.

The USA shall put a delay on S-Net before it arrives in America due to the cybersecurity measures.

Microsoft has asked the Swiss government for permission to analyze the S-Net browser in order to look for security flaws before it will allow the browser to be compatible with PC. Apple is also asking to review the S-Net browser, although it is less cautious about it than Microsoft.

Yes. However currently the 'world' is against GM Humans and so S-Net reflects that....Kinda like how Switzerland is for Chemical weapons but the 'world' is against that.

Japan accepts Australia's hand of friendship, and encourages a peaceful dialogue. It sends Australia a bonsai garden which resembles a cowbow, with the inscrition "Real Cowbows are only found in Australia."

Japan also offers a team of scientists and 10 billion dollars. Meanwhile, Thai officials allow the protest/convention thing to continue, as it isn't blocking major roads, which is illegal. They even stop by with a small force of armed police to protect them from pro-Japanese supporters.

Well it seems you're controlling some of the protestors, so I controlled a small portion of government response.

The browser is open source and thus is free to peruse at leisure.

S-Net is a wireless internet connection based off of orbiting satalites...virtually every laptop in the world built in the last 6 years has a wireless modem, thus everyone who has a less than 6 year old laptop has free access to the Internet and S-Net....S-Net being a better, freer and less regulated version of the Internet.

Cybersecurity(Specifically aimed at S-Net) would be discrimination and denounced as such.

S-Net is also downloadable from any internet connected computer, thus Microsoft has very little power, except, obviously, installing an update, which it is prevented from doing by Federal law after it screwed Netscape out of the bussiness.

If the need arises, the GM project will be moved away from prying eyes, but then the public doesn't get the benefit of cures for genetic disorders.

Too many cooks spoil the broth, Retech. I'm afraid any extra scientists might actually hurt the project. Some are allowed to join the project though.

Would you accept my contribution of 10 billion if I receive any benefits that occur from the project?

Yor said that Thai protestors showed up, when not all of them are under the employ of the RFA. So I just sent in some mild government response. Unless you want the radio without people not under direct employ...

Russia feels as if this is some plan so Switzerland could get into our files and such using a sort of internet O_O.

The Swiss government has already denounced the internet service and it is a private enterprise scheme by Stephen Newton....

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I gave a fairly light guess in your favor...here is my heavy guess:

Thai officials sent riot police to control the convention, telling the RFA people who were not citizens of Thailand to leave immediately, as they were not permitted from entering.

Files can still be kept on computers with no networking, so no worries, unless you happen to have your secret military strategy and projects on a random website.

Japan will only recieve some of the projects findings (cure for genetic disorders, some minor bodily improvements) due to bitterness of the Australian public over the Indonesian dispute.

Japan begins jamming Radio Free Asia in the region because of that comment. It sends a letter to the UN stating that if it can't look past this one issue, then perhaps it doesn't want Japanese assistance in carrying out sanctions and the like (Japan being number one exporter, any sanction not including it is pretty much ineffective).

Japan accepts the deal with Australia, but only sends 5 billion because it turns out there isn't infact 10 billion surplus left over. (Whoops, my mistake)
