Ok legallizing drugs is BAD

 

Say hello to health organizations and deaths, oh and violence, lots of violence. Low efficiency due to weed. Generally, its really damn bad!

You can say the exact same thing about legalized alcohol. If someone comes into work drunk, you reprimand or fire them. If someone comes into work stoned, you do the same. After a few years it'll become a normal part of society.

Weed kills people, would lower standard of how people work, its a bad drug.

Cannabis Sativa/Indica is actually near-impossible to administer lethal dose of, you'd need to smoke at least ten kg of it in short time to achieve that.

Switzerland agrees with Russia, though the law has not changed internal factors have made drugs even less tolerated than normal and will probably be outlawed entirely within a few years.

Plans to criminalise smoking in Switzerland are underway, though it will take many years.

Further in a very happy turn of events Homosexual Marriage has been made legal, entirely equal to to Hetrosexual Marriage (Despite the Right Wing Tendancies homosexuality has been legal since 1789 in a number of canons, and nationwide since 1942...at the hight of the Second World War.

On a related note homosexual bonding seems to be a growing factor in youth culture, thanks largely to the Last Cresent Youth Organisation. Though not homosexual many young people feel comfortable in enjoying the bodies of the same sex, while the opposite sex is increasingly reserved for specifically loving bonds.

Divorce is becoming less tolerated.

Adoption rights have spread to homosexual couples.

Massive sexual education, as well as free protection, has led to a sharp decline in Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Infections. It is believed that they might actually be wiped out within two years.

AIDs and HIV suffers are not isolated from this cultural revolution, but are required to get a RISUG, to prevent the spread of the diseases, though if they are trying for a child then this can be forgone, but they must do at a special facility to prevent the spread. Under this system AIDs and HIV will be wiped out within 50 years(assumedly)

Weed is a lot safer than both of those. So icu, don't act like you know about this when it's obvious you don't.

In fact, street cannabis contains a higher concentration of the chemical that gives it it's particular effects than would normally be found in nature, due to selective breeding over the years. If the regular variety is legalized in place of that, it's actually a hell of a lot better for you than both alchohol and tobacco.

Alcohol firstly, isn't a drug as such, a poison. Also this year, many crack downs on tobacco and alcohol have been made, I imagine that trend followed throughout the years.

The effects happen quicker and are more chronic than the others, as lung cancer and liver failure will kill you rather quickly. ALSO weed affects the brain, the guy doesn't die, but still takes in money. They wont be able to work, but still need stuff. So basically, it just destroys your production.

Considering there's medical marijuana in a lot of places, it's obviously not all bad. The risk of addiction is very low, in a study with 500 heavy users there weren't many symptoms of withdrawal, and no extremely serious ones. With mental issues, it's not that big of an issue, areas with high cannabis use have roughly the same amount of people with mental issues (that they think are caused by cannabis) as areas with very low usage rates. Also, correlation does not imply causation is a big factor in a lot of studies, so it's hard to tell.

And alcohol is a drug. "A drug, broadly speaking, is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function" That's WHO's definition.

Then you could also consider Cannabis and Tobacco poisons, since they only work due to the chemicals, but that is irrelevant.

 

They aren't going to ban alchohol or tobacco though, and "Natural" cannabis is healthier than that, so why not?

 

Remember, "Natural" cannabis as opposed to "street" cannabis is about half as potent last I checked.

In my country, all drugs are legal, though the heavier drugs (Opiates, varieties of coca derived products, amphetamines, etc.) are heavily regulated, and all purchases are recorded and heavily taxed. Most workplaces do not allow their employees to use those drugs, which prevents a lot of usage.

Where's all the alcohol in the US coming from? Surely the speakeasys won't be too happy about it, nor the gangs running smuggling operations. Oh wait, prohibition ended and then there was no more need for that. Drug kingpins would just become unprofitable and fail.

But the point is, alchohol and tobacco are both more dangerous to people than natural cannabis, so why should they be legal and cannabis not?

Seriously, I think by the trend is going, in this year there should be no use of it really, or real minor use. I just think its a stupid idea to allow more drugs to be used, they seriously [bleep] with your population, even if they're half as potent as they're now. You seem to overexaggerate the ability for cannabis to kill brain cells. It's about equal to that of alchohol.

 

Also, alchohol wont be banned for a loooong time yet. They already tried that, and it didn't work.

Like I say, just wait until your population begins to fall, it might not happen quickly, but it will.

 

Also, I don't see any reason to do this, you aren't going to earn money from it, if you buy from drug cartels, it'll be street potency (which will still be around regardless) and you don't really want to screw up fields or agriculture for drugs now do you?
