I can beat you, Skeletal wyverns. I've killed dozens of your comrades. The only way you can beat me is to somehow reach into this world and interrupt or freeze my mother lovin' computer's connection to the mother lovin' internet.

Are you complaining about the Wyverns, your crappy internet, or that you Kept on Death items are determined by the in game value of the items rather than the street value?

I lagged. I had full health when I went in and prayer was on. I was ranting because it apparently takes a long time even after severing your connection to the internet for it to log out. After all that, I logged back in and found myself in Falador.

 

...and yes, it's a rant about all of the things I mentioned.

Maybe next time don't try Skeletal Wyverns? Or fix your internet connection (make sure no one else is using it, if firewall is on, etc.)?

Not the wyverns, log out timer when in combat is 1 min. If you didnt know that, sorry. Dying does suck. But you lost what, 800k? You can make that in an hour by doing your dailies+herb run and MTK.

I lost 1.9 million....the going price of a Black mask right now. That's a lot of money to a person like me who doesn't play that often and has less than 7 times that in the bank.

 

Street price is ridiculous in this case. It kept the (barrows) gloves, an item you can't trade or sell on the GE for another item you can't trade or sell on the GE (the put-together Slayer helm). The black mask CAN be bought on the GE and it's more expensive than the 100k for the gloves in the culinaromancer chest.

 

I know the log out situation, but it's a slow death and it shouldn't happen when fighting NPCs. It's not a lack of skill but a random internet connection lag that caused it and all I needed was the ability to interact with my bank for a second to click a home teleport tablet.

 

I didn't go unprepared...I wasn't given a chance to play the game.

My computer doesn't lag frequently...in fact, it's just started happening.

 

As for the "oh no, I'm gonna die" comment...Jagex can certainly program in safeguards (if they can catch people cheating, they can tell if it's a sudden drop out or lag). Not to mention, what would be the big deal if they did make it safe? Does that really make a difference? It's not like it's lack of skill in those instances.

OK, so did you lag out and loose your internet connection for a whole 6 minutes, like when my power went out at TDs and made me loose void? Or did you just not bother to invest in an Angel of Death gravestone? Cause in the latter case I have very little sympathy. I KNOW it's possible to get back to wyverns in under 6 minutes. Thanks Captain O. A trashy rant is still a rant, yes. If you want a forum where nobody points out your flawed logic as you use your 0 experience in networking to try to suggest that which is not possible, or at the very least exploitable, there are a few thousand websites that will let you start your own forums for free, where you can administer and ban dem n00bs (all the spam bots who register) who defy your need to vent.

I don't have flawed logic and think before you base your entire argument on a faulty assumption. I did have an angel of death gravestone. I couldn't reconnect to the game site, though I had full access to the rest of the net. Reaching that area safely is not a simple task or simply a matter of beating it back to the cavern in five minutes.

 

Through all of that, anyone who takes the time to flame here is just pathetic. Let forum users blow off steam and just move on.

If you think I'm "flaming" you, you very much need to grow up and take your own advice, "move on." I pointed out the flaws in your suggestions, mainly that they aren't possible. The fact that, in the same sentence, you talked about pointless flaming and then called me pathetic says way more about you than it does about myself or anyone else who has posted here.
