Its good + funny at the same time. Its good because you can have a fall in leader that isn't as good as another. They can have a similar name and combat which makes you pile a different fall in leader but it isn't the real one.It's funny because people get mistaken for someone else (LOL)

if you're willing to change your name to something 3 or 4+ other guys have then by all means go for it. I guess it'll help a little bit, maybe tank for 2-3 seconds longer. It's not too hard to get around, especially if you have audio and can spam. You just need to wait until the person throws up his prayer and starts running.

I have never been a fan myself, but hey, it truly is a good strategy. Clans will take what they can get these days, and if this confuses the enemy, props to the people willing to be "clones".

I guess it could work for smaller clans but it creates a lot of work for any clan with 100+ members as it's impossible to tell who is who lol.

I don't understand why people would want to make their names all the same. :S For myself I like knowing that i have a username that isn't used by that many people(i.e. I haven't seen anyone with my name.)

It is annoying yes, but it is also a strategy that was done. For example in DF we had around 30 sekret agent variants which made it very difficult to pile them. It however started to die down when people changed their name back, fearing their old display names would be taken.

Shows that a clan generally has poorer organization so they need every advantage they can get to be able to screw with the other clan to win. Shows desperation to me and a lack of other basic warring skills.

 

I also agree with Dandaman's mass sniping point. The only people to blame are the idiots who change their name to be similar to cause confusion.

 

That's exactly what I thought, in the end people will change their RSN to their own one again because you lose your identity in the clan itself.
