Sy_Accursed
Wouldn't it be better, even if in a collapsing table like sued in construction guide, to list all 99 xp values separately somewhere?I'm sure a lot of people would like to know the exact values for their level rather than somewhere between x and y for lvls a to b Also if the smaller table is to be kept the numerics are a bit off. Convention would dictate it should go 1- 10, 11 - 20, 21 - 30 etc rather than 1 - 10, 10 - 20 Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Convention would dictate it should go 1- 10, 11 - 20, 21 - 30 etc rather than 1 - 10, 10 - 20 I would tend to agree that listing each one (since those values are reportedly known to have exact figures) would be better. It's certainly not necessary, I suppose, but people are probably going to submit exact values in the future as corrections...as it exists in the current format. Kidd_Varrow
It's been reported that the formula for calculating the xp reward is x^2 - 2x + 100, where x is your current level. This seems to fit the existent data.

This seems to fit the existent data. The formula is (x*(x-1))+(100-x) I sussed out like first day and submitted it to them with a full list of all 99 xp values. This was proven right as all 25 or so submissions matched my predicted values exactly and thus my values were used for the lower levels where no-one submitted data Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

But I'll ask around and have other Crew members post here to express their opinion on the matter. And I do agree that in the table that we currently have in the guide, it'd be better to list them 1-10, 11-20, etc. So I will definitely support that. Sy_Accursed
Ah yeah its a rehashed quadratic. Though isn't the bracketed form considered the simplified form in most cases? I'd still dispute the fact it is not "necessary" to display them all. After all is the whole point of a tip.it guide not to give all the information available? And In every other guide where there are numerous xp values are they not all listed? Rs players afterall do like to have precise information wherever possible and by the same logic there would be no need for the general xp table page as its not necessary to tell people the xp values and differences exactly for each level when you can just put 1 - 10, 11 - 20 etc. Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
12pure34
A few things perhaps usefull to add. For Construction you need to be in normal mode. But instead of waiting, people can actually do things. Like making teletablets, cooking food etc. etc.Having your butler fetch you things from the bank, makes it easy to gather, instead of letting people wait. For Smithing, I can confirm that you can get these from smelting cannonballs. You can get the crafting one from making gold amulets.
Dragratdev
I don't know if this is confirmed or not but while i train thieving in Falador, I tend to just let myself die since the respawn point is a few feet away instead of wasting food. I found one rock and was trying to find the other when i ran out of health. I came back to my grave to find the rock wasn't there but the rest of my stuff was. Perhaps rocks disappear when you die. Yes, they have a "Destory" option, rather than a "Drop" option. I posted a pic on the other thread of the message you get when you recieve your first rock, but here is a better cropped version, if you wish to add it to the beginning of the guide. Also, I think there is an exception with smithing. As far as I can tell, you can't get a smithing rock smelting gold ore. 2461/2496 Total, 35 levels to CompletionistSunstriker: Path to Completionist Cape

Not true, I was just able to get a smithing one from smelting my gold ore. Just for the info :)
Serpent Eye
As the general consensus seemed to be that exp values for all levels were wanted, I went ahead and added a table reflecting these values. :) - SerpentEye
uath13
The low walls found in the barbarian agility course are very good for finding the Agility stones & isn't listed in the guide.
