i sop training acid magiks, realizing that they will be next to useless against the undead. i begin to train in nature magics, to decompose the bodies of my foes. then i go and grab a longsword, just in case i lose my axe.

Jen - You find yourself in a well lit hallway with pictures of heros lining the walls. The door at the end of the hall is open, and you see Grim in the doorway

Ares - Look where? You practice. +0.1 Death Magic

Kemios - Manipulate sound waves? 1) We're fighting undead and 2) It's called magic. How 'bout I give your flail a +1 sound bonus?

Hakon - You mean through the unmarked door? You follow Grim into the second room.

Sure. So long as I can make things temporarily deaf at will...

 

And Kemios keeps wandering around randomly.

okays. i wanna go play AOM about naow, so this is mah last action.

if i can go outside, i go out, and use my new skills to try and kill something. if not, then i train more.

Jen wanders down the hallway glancing at stuff, looking for valuable items, especially a high quality katana. Then she moves on into the rotting room, if she can't find one.

Ares heads down into the bunkers deeper levels, running past Grim and Jen.

Grim examines the sword and continues through the doorway.

You can determine nothing about the sword's properties. (people keep rolling 1s on examination...)

The next room is large, with a golden statue of a warrior in the center. The warrior's sword seems identical to yours, and his other hand is empty.

There are three doors:

An old, rotting one on one side of the warrior (the side with the empty hand)

A gleaming door on his opposite side

A plain door behind the warrior.

Kemios - You find nothing

Kirby I advise you to take a shield or anything that gives a bonus to a specific type of magic instead.

Grim - You can't tell much about the sword, save that it was made for show and not for actual combat. You fail to open the gleaming door.

Jen - The door crumbles, and the doorway itself seems to have disappeared.

Kemios - You pass through the hallway to where Grim, Ares, and Jen are.

Hakon - You reach the statue room.

Kirby - What do you want as your starting bonus? And what will you make your ship out of?
