goodboy7557 Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum (well, not new, but new to start posting again :P ), so i thought i'd start off with a topic that i really like :D Despite our scientific breakthroughs, satellites and many other aspects of science. there are still those who believe that the Earth is flat. In theory, we (ourselves) actually don't know 100% that the earth is flat. Since: -We haven't seen it ourselves-All we can see is flatness And, according to the Flat Earth Society (who are the main runners of this woogooloogoo) believe that the main runners of this claim that: -All astronauts are a lie, they have all been bribed.-All videos are fake-All pictures are fake "Earth Not a Globe" is a book explaining everything it detail But, with the help of the FE (Flat Earth) website and wikipedia, i'll quickly skip through some things: -Gravity does not exist, instead the Earth is disc shaped, constantly ascending upwards by a form of "Dark Energy", SO; as i drop the pen, no...the pen didn't fall, our planet hit it -This is how the earth really looks: -Advocates explain the sinking ship effect by a series of perspective laws, in which a ship on the horizon intersects with the vanishing point, causing it to appear as if it is sinking.-The UN and all the governments know this, but they're ALL covering it up, the UN flag is actually the cover up to all this: ^(look, its flat earth ) -There's an ice barrier around the planet to stop everything from falling off. Everybody who has seen the barrier has been bribed+had their life threatened not to tell anybody (yep, you can go get a boat, sail north/south...east/west? and you'll be rich!) here's a picture of the ice wall: -The seasons work with the sun going in circles, here's how the seasons + everything else works: -According to some Muslim+Christian extremists, nowhere in the Bible/Koran does it say that the Earth is round, therefore its flat -Moon landings are very unrealistic, hoax, and bad quality that it was all made in the studios. -All calculations for Earth's movement speed, rotation of everything, size etc. has been calculated, and is somewhere on the website+the book. -Their motive is MONEY! LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY. NASA + other space organizations get rich with funding, whilst they can upkeep this hoax maintenance. It also doesn't cost much to upkeep the coast patrol. -Flat Earth Society must re-educated the masses to the true belief that the earth is flat Replace the science religion...with SANITY a quote from the Flat Earth Society Charles K. Johnson, x-leader of FE. We maintain that what is called 'Science' today and 'scientists' consist of the same old gang of witch doctors, sorcerers, tellers of tales, the 'Priest-Entertainers' for the common people. 'Science' consists of a weird, way-out occult concoction of gibberish theory-theology...unrelated to the real world of facts, technology and inventions, tall buildings and fast cars, airplanes and other Real and Good things in life; technology is not in any way related to the web of idiotic scientific theory. ALL inventors have been anti-science. The Wright brothers said: "Science theory held us up for years. When we threw out all science, started from experiment and experience, then we invented the airplane." Because what IS 100% true all the time? Consider what if gravity only worked 99.9999999999(times 9billion 9s) percent oft he time? Then theoretically maybe some of these missing persons just jumped one day and never stopped!!! But back to the subject.... this kind of makes me giggle. Scientific proof is created when a hypothesis is backed up by an experiment that can prove this, and can be repeated by anybody wanting to do the experiment. Now the earth wasn't proved to be spherical until the first pictures of it from outer space were taken. Because they continually fall while in earth's pull towards earth but since it is spherical they continue to fall around the earth instead of hitting it because of the lack of corners. And I do believe the earth is flat. Near the poles. He who wears his morality but as his best garment were better naked...
