POLL: What were your thoughts on the Easter Holiday Event?

I liked the managing part. Beta for a new minigame, anyone?

 

I feel absolutely stupid, but I just can't figure out how to do anything in the managing part. Normally I love puzzle type things but I don't even know where to start with this one. Help please.

I thought it was a cool event. Wasn't anything spectacular but I did enjoy the management part. As others have said, if they didn't reuse so much from last year it would have been a lot more fun.

 

Same here, I like it simple and don't required too much brain power, and short enough so I don't feel like free labors for those lazy holiday NPC (man, the marionette was so much work, and the one with the animal sort, brain hurts). I think if you read the instruction clear enough, u should get management part alright w/o much issue.

I never participate in holiday event just to get a useless item or emote... I'd have done it if there had been a nice reward (xp or useful item... not another cornucopia)

It's the best of both worlds. You get your holiday event and item, yet it doesn't take up too much of the developers' time.

 

However, I think the factory could do with a bit of renovation. Easter gives me the impression of colourful eggs and bunnies, but all I see in the event are brown, brown and more brown. :unsure: I wouldn't mind if we can just carry an easter egg basket and go around visiting NPCs either (the part where you go out of the burrows to deliver the stuff was the best). Beats staying underground with a pretty dull looking environment.

I haven't even done the event yet.. Idk if I will. The rewards are useless (as per usual, but I guess they shouldn't all have some big flashy use to them.) I've never enjoyed them much.. maybe I'll convince myself to go do it before it's over, just to say that I did. :P

you can barley see the ears :P the emote might be nice for a video or something, but i can honestly say im gona use it much, my favourite nontradeble holiday item still remains to be rubber chicken :D

And im disappointed that jagax keep using same area for holidays, at least add something very special to it!

I wish the squirrel ears at least came with squirrel tails.

 

 

I wish the events focussed on fun, not just doing random things and walking here and there. It seemed like those quests I dislike where it's just prolonged without reason.

 

 

Also this was the first year I was planning on skipping the event but some friends pursuaded me to do it. Because it's a tradition now that we do RS events together.

 

 

I wish that RS holiday events were shorter and more interactive with other players rather than NPC's because I do the event to catch up with RS friends.

 

 

 

I honestly don't see the point in events anymore because I never even wear the holiday items. If they never did another holiday event I woudln't care.

 

 

 

Please do not encourage them to do the management game! It's boring after you play it a few times and requires absolutely no thought.

it was boring, forgettable and flat out lame. I'm tired of them making knock off holiday items -.- first carrot to rip off chicken now squirrel ears to rip off bunny? ugh there disappointing me.

I hated it. Doing the stuff I didn't want to do last year all over again. Then when I saw the reward, I just logged out. Squirrel ears? Really? We can dress like blood elves from WoW now...

 

I miss rsc holidays. Holiday greetings in multiple colors, items appear all over the ground, grab all you can (or even the ones like bunny ears where you grab one) and your done, and get back to your business...

I thought that the event was really bad, it seemed like the developers got lazy and reused last years event. (exactly what everyone else is saying)

 

But i personally liked the management part of the event, that was the best part of it by far. I hope they do better next year. :pray:
