Good alternative to claws for special attack

Right now I'm using claws + bgs at tormented demons but I really want to free up some of my cash and start buying bones for 99 prayer slowly without selling the bgs. What's a good alternative to using claws for special attack on tormented demons that isn't a godsword(because I know someone will suggest a sgs or ags godsword without realizing I'm trying to free up cash not use more).

 

I don't need an enhanced excliber so a special attack that hits it for damage is what I'm looking for.

tbh, a dds outdoes dclaws, just it does alot less damage per spec! and costs 30m ish less!

It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities.

Thanks I'll try that now I was a little hesitant to try it without someone telling me that it was good. I'm too lazy to start a trip only to find out something isn't right have to bank again.

 

Never been to TDs before but what about a Dhally?

Too slow and really doesn't hit that much.

Well, you could try a darkbow for specs. With a guaranteed hit.. Could be well worth it. Also, you could just spec with BGS, effectively lowering the TD's defenses, but I doubt you'll need that.

Darkbow would be my best bet ;)

 

As for the tasset question, I have no idea. But tassets are highly overrated in my opinion. Waste of money in every way. Void is more efficient, especially for someone like you that is looking for extra damage

I tried dds but it got to be annoying having to do an extra two clicks to hit the special bar 3-4 times a kill instead of 1-2, I'm already switching weapons, helms and prayers all before the weapon hits again. And yes before someone tells me I already use the f1 and f3 keys to switch tabs. I'm gonna go try just a bgs this time to see if it slows me down enough to not be worth bringing claws. Also, since range seems to be what slows me down the most at tormented demons would a ranging ammy be worth trying instead of a glory(no I will not buy a fury, I'm trying to free up cash).

Doubt you've been to TD's, but DDS will probably hit once every other kill, if that.

 

 

Best spec weapon to use there is D Claws, followed by a D Hally. D Hally spec is beastly at TD's, and almost as good as claws.

Bandos is not much use at all at tds, your best bet is either void(the best, but personally I don't like switching two things that often), or dhide/karils, because the increase in range accuracy is much more noticeable than a 1-2 point increase in your max.

I guess I'll try d hally now, I really want to free up that cash to start buying d bones but so far nothing has really matched claws good enough to make me want to sell them.

 

Btw since range is what is always slowing me down should I try a ranging ammy instead of glory? I'm not buying a fury so don't suggest it please.

When I was level 100 I thought the db axe was good too.

 

At his level it would be a complete waste of time. D mace is too inaccurate, and he doesn't want healing/etc.

Those suggesting dark bow, would you be using rune arrows and mage short bow for the non-spec range shots then? Otherwise changing helm/wep/ammo/prayer/clicking spec bar all in one turn is pretty impossible..

I love AGS at tormented demons. Try to borrow one because hitting 800s is awesome.

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

Claws > D Hally = AGS > Everything Else

 

 

Claws are great for combo hits, since you can hit 500+ easily, switch off to range, then move onto GS after range hit.

 

D Hally spec hits a lot higher than AGS, but it's also slower, which is why AGS is equal to it in strength.

Claws were definitely best but I just sold them so I could start buying d bones for 99 prayer. I'm just using the hally now and sometimes I might just use bgs if I don't feel like bringing hally. It's not bad and isn't slowing me down too much.
