April 9, 201016 yr http://vnboards.ign.com/daoc_general_board/b5176/112868955/p1/?16 So uhhh, how screwed is Mythic? Also if you snoop around to the Warhammer board its even more terrible. There are stories of families running out of food for their kids (30 X (14.99 + overdrafts)) Easily over $1,000 Sig
April 9, 201016 yr Banks will usually refund any overdraft charges if it's not the fault of the account holder. The problem with that, though, is it's red-tape, customer service hell getting them to finally do so...Because you have to get Mystic to admit fault and then wait for their financial dept. to follow up on it. I feel really bad for those who play their account balances close to the chest. I know I've floated a check or two in the past while waiting for my paycheck to clear--it's just stuff you do to get along. I hope people get refunded and get some sort of compensation. For me? I'd personally never play that game again. Sure it's a tiny bug that might never happen again, but I wouldn't want to take the chance.

My friend is now -$675 and some cents waiting the 1 to 2 days for his bank to sort this out. Sig

Unfortunately, that'd take a bit of time too.

April 10, 201016 yr tsk, that's a shame. Warhammer online looked pretty good. I'll miss Mythic. April 10, 201016 yr The worst part is that this is the same EA pay system that glitched last year, making it possible for people to digitally download a specific combination of three games absolutely free (all they had to do was create an account)But yeah, final nail in mythic's coffin dedicate your idle computer power to a scientific project.

April 10, 201016 yr Woah, that is insane! This one picture and is this one showing the charges is just crazy. I'm glad that there are people there who are telling them to do the paperwork that is necessary. I can't believe a company would let such a thing happen to be honest. I find it very scary that they are charging accounts that are suppose to be banned/closed. What the hell? This is why I am a fan of using a prepaid credit card for games that require monthly memberships. If you have money to play the game, then play. But if you don't, just wait or something. Since this is a RuneScape forum afterall; imagine if this happen to Jagex Ltd.? I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]
April 11, 201016 yr Whats Mythic? The creators of the game I'm assuming? And how much is a monthly fee to begin with? I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001.
