DarkDude Posted April 26, 2010 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Hello, We're in the process of making some changes to the forums and would like your feedback on the potential changes before we make them. Most of these changes involve general discussion. Anywho, the changes we're proposing. General Discussion changes Make the Marketplace a subforum of General DiscussionMerge Debates into General DiscussionTalk about Runescape Bugs will now belong in general And we're also planning on making a new board - the Runescape Media board, this board will be for Runescape related Videos, Machinima, creative art (fakes etc.). The current sticky in General Discussion will remain there (The Screenshot thread) and this will not change. And also, to be clear, the new Media Board will NOT be a place to post Runescape Screenshots, those will remain where they are now. Anyway, let us know what you think of these changes and unless we have any major objections we should be making these changes within a week. Or will Suggestions remain an independent subforum while all topics about glitches will be discussed in General Discussion? If not, then fine by me :). Most bugs get discussed there anyway and the difference between debates and discussions is here nor there. Having them in one place too will lower things being discussed multiple times and keep everything in the same place, which should have a positive effect on the discussions instead of separating them into two separate places. As for the other changes, moving older forums to the gen discussion; this sounds like a smart idea and will hopefully get more traffic there. Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here! Debates i gather it is because it has also slowed down in activity, and as general discussion has grown since Debates was first introduced, it has caught up on the mature debates, and two places for them is not needed. The media board will hopefully be a popular place to share images and videos that are more than just random screenshots.
